what is the creed to which almost all terrorist attacks have been carried out in the past 10 years. its islam. of course not all muslims are extremist, but the religion itself is responsible for the extremism and violence. it gives the perfect excuse to carry out such attacks. kill yourself and take a non-muslim with you, and u get an automatic ticket to heaven and 72 virgins. |

actually, i studied islam for 2 months in a college comparative religion class. 1 semester devoted to the big 3 monotheistic religions, and 1 semester to the pantheistic and secular religions/movements.

look, its fine if u dont agree with me. but right now, as i watch world events fold out on television and the internet, the majority of every bad happening in the world has islam somehow involved in it. my feeling is that of extreme dislike. that's just how im feeling. i have a couple of iranian friends who are muslims. do i care that they are muslim, no. it has no bearing on anything. but as for the religion itself, i just see it as responsible for a lot of things happening. thats just my opinion. now, please, dont disrespect it, as i try not to disrespect yours. |
