Yo guys when you actaully take a step back and look at this from a distanced point of view. Its ing halarious, all of it. I mean honestly the way ppl are acting is just funny.
Anyways i think every news paper shoulkd just start printing none stop cartoons, about arabs, muslims, blacks, whites, scandinavians, catholics everything just for the hell of it...after a few weeks people will lighten up...i think |

Very interesting. IMHO one religion is as blinding to the masses as the next, but there are some that just push intolerance a little too far. From my own experience, and from being in a civil war that had more to do with religion as with anything else, I've come to the opinion that Islam is just too much of an extremist belief system. True, they don't subjugate women, gays, and other such groups any more or less than any other number of primitive belief systems. This is just a reaction of the masses, those that are un-informed and ignorant. This discussion can go very deep, as this is not a simple matter of "Religion is bad". Cultural beliefs that are so closely tied in with religious ones, that have existed for many generations are inherent in the way these people live their lives. You cannot be angry at the stupid for being stupid. |
