Just ate there last night

I've been to almost every Vietnamise restaurant in Kitchener, and quite a few in Waterloo, and here's a few brief reviews (starting south and going north):
- Red Papaya (Fairway at Manitou-ish, 1 plaza over from the stag shop) is good, has Thai food also, nice curry.
- Pho Blue Ocean sucks
- Pho Dau Bo is good. I like the soup. noodle stuff is pretty standard.
- Damn what's it called... the one on king street right beside pho dau bo, go north 30 paces from the king street side and turn left, go up some stairs. It's kinda hidden but really good, been multiple times, cheaper than pho dau bo and the same quality.
- Pho '95... very similar to other downtown kitchener vietnamise places.
- Golden Mango... now this place I've been two a few times, it's sorta in university plaza, but east of phillip street (same plaza as Mr. Sushi, but closer to UW). Anyways, it's really really good, I love the fried bananas (is that vietnamise?), they serve a little bit of thai food also. It's soooo much better than that other vietnamise retaurant in the university plaza (I forget what it's called...).

There are a few others that I may or may not have been to. But yeah... vietnamise = good. Chinese = also good (Cameron Seafood is AMAZING.)
