Andreas Isaksson.
He's been Swedens number one choice ever since Magnus Hedman stopped playing football. Andreas is moving to the Premier League and City, hopefully he'll be successfull and learn a lot there.
24 years old and has already been Swedens number one choice for a couple of years.
He was discovered in Trelleborg back in 1999 where he was number one because their other goalkeeper was something like 40 years old. Later on, after being seen by Juventus-scouts, he decided to move to Italy, where he spent one season 1999/2000. He wasn't given any time behind the posts, so he decided to move back to Sweden and Djurgården who won the league a couple of seasons in a row.
Kim Källström and Andreas Isaksson moved to Rennes in the French League, where they both played until this summer. Andreas was brought in as a replacement to Chelseas Petr Cech, who left the club for the EPL-champions. Kim moved to Lyon, where he has been given a lot of time on the pitch ever since the move, and Andreas is now leaving the French League for the English Premier League. They were both successfull at Rennes, keyplayers.
Isaksson also played a keyrole in the WC Qualifier where he only allowed 4 goals (2 in 2 games against Croatia).

This is probably the best goalkeeper in the Spanish La Liga, He allows very few goals, and saves the most incredible shots. Top class goalkeeper. |

Yeah sorry about the typo. A great keeper that can move even further in a year or two.
About Auoat, I appreciate him but I still think Casillas is better, maybe even Valdes. I can see him as the best replacement they could have got for Molina though. Too bad he didn't played like that when he was in M. Haifa :toothless |

Definetly. He'll get even better when he's gained some experience.
Valdes?
Not a chance.
Maybe Iker, but still, He played in a team without stars and still allowed surprisingly few goals. |

Still early but most of the experts in Madrid are predicting Diego Lopez will eventually win the race vs Casillas for that spot... in my particular opinion I have watched Lopez a few times and he does look secure and robust, very solid all around as a goalkeeper. I have always liked Casillas but he's known for his bad judgement calls sometimes, specially in the aerial balls (spell check). |

i'm sure it's only bull rumors ... but if it's serious, then the guys at AC Milan probably have their heads filled with instead of brains |

Apparently the rumours mills claim we are ready to meet bayerns asking price of 17 million pounds for him.
If united pay out more than 10 million tops for hargreaves, david gill and fergie need a slap across their face. Hargreaves was valued somewhere between 5-8 million before the world cup and just because hes become this new sensationalized hero among the british media because of 2 good games, it doesnt warrant such a steep increase in the asking price. If we ready to pay 17 million, would be a better idea to put another 3 million and enter the race to sign diarra. |
