Apparently the rumours mills claim we are ready to meet bayerns asking price of 17 million pounds for him.
If united pay out more than 10 million tops for hargreaves, david gill and fergie need a slap across their face. Hargreaves was valued somewhere between 5-8 million before the world cup and just because hes become this new sensationalized hero among the british media because of 2 good games, it doesnt warrant such a steep increase in the asking price. If we ready to pay 17 million, would be a better idea to put another 3 million and enter the race to sign diarra. |
If they brought Carrick for almost 20, I can see them signing him too in a pretty expensive deal. They should stick with the Senna option imo.
EDIT
Khalid Boulahrouz (Hamburget SV) to Chelsea.
JoaquÃ_n (Betis) maybe changing clubs to Valencia |

According to Spanish newspaper, AS, Diarra's tranfer to Real is almost finalized at 26 million. Apparently the clubs have reached an agreement. Now Real has to reach an agreament with Diarra himself about the years of contract ans salary.

now that surprised me, perhaps it's related to the mess with Gallas, if he leaves Chelsea lose a backup for centreback. |

Joaquín near to signs with Valencia. 18m + Mario Regueiro.
Joaquín is one of the best right wings in the world.
And Diarra for 26m is a new player of Real Madrid.
Only one week to start la Liga :D :D |

Would be so fantastic to see real struggle again, in spite of their huge effort this summer to live up to their "galactico" name.
Still, they should buy some more, maybe a few more strikers :o, perhaps owen if he recovers...
And dont get me started about chelsea, size queen abramovic prolly has 3 players for each position by now. |

not really, chelsea are fairly weak at the back. if terry gets injured, carvalho is too erratic to be totally relied on, and huth is looking to leave, so without gallas they don't have 200 players to bring in like most positions.
edit- just to elaborate on carvalho, for every blinder he plays, he has some moments which are way too scary or dodgy, especially with his play on the ball, he's too continental still and not used to being charged down... we had that with ivan campo which is why we play him in midfield now, that leaves meite, ben haim etc to mop up any mess :p |

Nikola Zigic on his way to Juventus according to Serbian newspapers.
Hopefully he'll stay where he is, and if Zvezda knocks out Milan, it would be a joy to see him play the Champions League with his mates. Otherwise, I would've loved to see him take Zalayeta's place, which is for sure.
The transfer fee would be around 7 million €. |

| Somehow, I can see Zigic been a "Ibrahimovic" flop. The good thing is, they don't pay too much on him. I like Zigic, but I can't think he can be a main striker in Juve, at least not if they'll come back to Serie A. |

I want Zigic to stay at Crvena Zvezda if they qualify for the Champions League on Wednesday, but the reports are saying that he'll leave the team no matter what happens. He should be taking the chance while he still has the chance to play there.
There's one slight difference between these players, Zigic scores both for the NT and the club team, Ibrahimobitch doesn't.
