you sure about pires? fairly sure he will be let go. Wenger wont give him a 2 year contract. At this stage i doubt he will even give him a year. Pries has been poor this season. Considering there reportedly paying henry 130k a week, they'd want to cut some of the expensive dead-wood from the squad. |

i wouldnt be surprised if he stays though, hes 33 and doesnt have to long to go in his club career and his international career is pretty much over now that he didnt make the french squad for germany. Players mainly leave big clubs if they feel their career will progress at another but Pires doesnt have that problem anymore.
Villareal is going to win and he'l prolly get more money at arsenal. |

Deal is done, Diego will take Micoud's spot @ Bremen.
It is rumoured that Hamburger SV is interested in Vincent Kompany from RSC Anderlecht and Jefferson Farfan from PSV Eindhoven. Of course these are just rumours in our local newspapers and both players aren't cheap, but last summer we took van der Vaart from Ajax.
And if Daniel van Buyten is transfered to Bayern Munich we'll have enough money to buy both players. Kompany would be a great replacement of van Buyten and with Farfan we would finally get a forward who can make goals :) |
