| Who does everyone think is the dj that has the best mixing skills?..i know great djs are unbelievable at mixing, but who is the one that who cant even tell when a song stops or stops..cant even tell they're mixing |

| you can always "tell" when the new track is being mixed...it sounds different then the previous track. the whole concept of dj'ing is to seemlessly integrate multiple tracks without interruption, into a massive set. big name and no name dj's do this fine if they know what they're doing.. |

| whats up dubs?...did u go to G&D at rise?....yea i saw zabiela in boston and his mixing is flawless....i think armins mixing is flaweless too |

| For the type of music that I most love, Armin is a very tight mixer. But overall I would say Digweed. He is just nasty. |

Armin is definitely better than most other trance djs at mixing but overall he's far from flawless and he does basic mixing/equing. Eddie Halliwell is the best dj at mixing trance. Digweed is real smooth at equing + matching but he would be the first to admit that he doesn't hold a candle to Phil K. or Zabiela. I heard Digweed have some minor wrecks at glow in dc but I think that was more a problem with the monitors than anything. Sasha is an exceptional mixer as well. He doesn't need to beatmatch himself anymore as he's using Ableton live but he still is doing the equing and phrasing of the mixes. |

I went to G and D after Danny Howells. It's not really my kind of music anymore. I've outgrown gabriel and dresden. I would have gladly taken 6+ more hours of Howells :) |

that's what i wanted to say...you can't really compare people that just do straight beatmatching / mixing with those that use tons of more complex djing techniques and live creation... |
