Never did I make any of those suggestions. He just plays boring tracks. Like I just said, I dont know where you are getting the idea I thought 135MPB+ is the only way to get energy out of a set. Hence why I prefer Digweed over him. Sasha is just boring to me and a lot of others and thats all there is to it.
Maybe if he got more involved with the audience then his computer screen he would notice his audience is just standing there and he should switch the type of tracks he is playing. |
NO. way to prove you're a noob once again. Sasha's lack of Jesus poses and interactions with a crowd have nothing to do with it. What about Digweed? He looks like an accountant doing taxes up there. His music often overlaps with Sasha's and often times is deeper and more subtle....less energy than Sasha's yet you like him. You make no sense is what my point is. 9/10 of the people who like digweed also like sasha and the 1 out of ten times they dont they can come up with a good reason as to why they dont but you fail to make that point. I get the notion that the bpms is the issue from you from you being a trance fanboy of Armin etc. Would u like it better if Sasha played Motorcycle tracks or more epic breakdowns? |

You really have to stop assuming things that you think I am saying. let me make it clear for you since you obviously have a headache and can't read and understand a post at the same time.
He should look at the ing audience more then 2 times during a givin night he is playing!
Please, oh please, don't screw this one up...
 |

| What the hell? JD looks like he is doing taxes? Well atleast he takes the time to write them out instead of doing them using TurboTax like Sasha! |

OK, multiple areas of disagreement in this one. First, he hardly plays boring tracks. I mean, if you think tracks like 16 Bit Lolitas - Destiny, Tiefschwarz - Warning Siren (Cass & Mangan Remix), the ones that GuBostonDubs mentioned, etc. are boring, what can I say? Take a listen to them and get back to me. I just disagree and find some of those tracks to be a hell of a lot more inventive and distinguished than what I hear coming from the trance scene lately.
Secondly, who gives a if he's staring at his computer. He's a DJ. He's there to provide the soundtrack for the party, not to act like a god for doing it. At least he uses the equipment, rather than throw a CD in and jump up and down, waving his arms while the producer of the track does all the work for him. Do you have the same opinion of PvD, because he does the same thing (if I recall prior posts, I think you do)? I mean, when you listen to sets at home, do you judge them on their musical content, or on how the DJ that spun it acted the last time you saw him? When you DJ at home, do you jump around like you have an audience to practice? |

I'm not assuming anything. I know your kind. Into level to edm Noob Armin fan that doesn't know his from his armpit music wise. Sasha is 2nd level music and maybe someday you'll be able to appreciate it but for now just keep fist pumping and singing along to your trance :) |

I don't like PvD because I don't like the music he plays. I also hate the fact that he can lay down bomb after bomb and then totally dismantle the vibe by playing something that sounds like Lasgo produced it.
You named a few songs. He most likely plays 20+ in any given set. Wow. Way to prove your point.
When I DJ at home I dance around like a maniac and once in a blue moon knock the needle off the record because I can't stand still while cueing or beatmatching and mixing.
Back to PvD. He uses everything. He uses vinyl, cd, laptop.. the whole 9 yards. I respect him for that. Sasha sits on that damnn computer all night and probably uses up about 10% of the programs capabilties. Wow, what a ing genius. |

| That's right I pm'ed all those house labels/tracks to you because I haven't a clue what I'm talking about. I should use the eye roll smiley here but that's reserved for noobs |

Like I said, Sasha is the man... when I'm driving in my car. Armin is the man, when I wan't energy to run through my body and keep me up while I am experiencing a night in NYC in a club for 6+ hours. Thanks for having such a nice convo with me and keeping negative comments out of the mix. |

have u played on ableton live? or have a maven controller. Sasha had that thing built just so he could do more than having the ableton setup alone. |

The problem here is that you want to get personal. I am talking about a dj and why I dont like him and keep the convo there. You keep bringing my views into this whole thing and use that as to why you think the dj or producer isn't good. I don't get it... and the sad thing is, you aren't the only one. |

No, just stick to your name calling. It really helps distinguish those who are here for a conversation rather then bash someone for their opinion. Thanks. |

What did you want, a whole setlist? You said he plays boring tracks. I listed non-boring tracks that he plays.

OK, that made me laugh

You are aware that Sasha has used all of the stuff PvD has used, just not anymore. He became famous because of how good his sets were when he was spinning vinyl. He's just embraced the new technology.
Did you read that interview that was posted a month or so ago that he did for the DC paper?

HEY!!! That's my favorite and most used smiley and I'm hardly a n00b.:whip: :whip: :whip:
Oh, lastly, I want to congratulate DOOMBOT for branching out. You can listen to other stuff AND still listen to trance. I mean, that's what I do. I have always been a firm believer in not pigeonholing yourself into one genre or style of music. |
