Instead of having one for every single team it will be alot handier just stick them all in one. This will be used to discuss all the squad information. The full squad, the suprise chocies and the ones left out. Peoples potential first 11 etc.

Bigges suprise for me is no roy Mckaay. Seems like a solid enough team. I think holland to win the world cup and RVN to finish top scorer could be a good bet.

Hehe, great to see Van Basten takes Huntelaar with him...
He couldnt deny those 33 goals :D, imo he should even let him play alot too, WC topscorer with 15 :D :D |

| That's a disgrace that he picks someone like van bronkhurst and leaves out seedorf who has had one of his best seasons in years. |

You wanna bitch about van bronckhorst, i'll bitch about all those AZ players ...
and as for Seedorf, he's just fallen out of the grace of the holland squad i guess, been a few years now |

yeah, players who are in lesser known teams are always
you do realise AZ ended up 2nd in the dutch championship before the playoff? ahead of Feyenoord and well ahead of Ajax? and they reached the UEFA cup semi-finals last season?
i don't know very well the players in question either (tho i'm sure Landzaat is great, and heard of De Cler and Opdam) but i won't knock them off yet |

Kronkamp is brilliant, absolute key in AZ last season, we wanted to buy him at the start of the season but Villarreal got him (then he moved to Liverpool, apparently wasn't successful in Spain). Ooijer has been a regular for PSV for quite some years now.
Fairly surprised with Makaay and Seedorf out of the squad, but as for Makaay there's plenty of top strikers in that list, very tough to leave anyone out.
btw, best thing would be for the first post in the thread to be regularly updated as the squads come out |

I see alot of Dutch football every week so yes i know what AZ managed to do last year with Van Gaal in the UEFA Cup, and that they've had two very good seasons in a row now.
But personally i just dont like to see those players in the Dutch squad. I guess i'm dreaming of 'better' days with De Boer at the back giving that brilliant long pass towards Bergkamp against Argentina.
Maybe by seeing them play for the national squad i'll learn to like them but atm ... nope |
