I'm just wondering who feels that they missed out on underground raves. Back in the day when these were happening like crazy, I didnt even really know about them, and wasnt big into the music as much. I feel like I missed out on some legendary partys, and a part of the scene that may never be seen again. I'm sure some crazy things happened, some good times some bad times, and some amazing times. I wish I was into partys more back then, fack! lol
I remember when I was in grade 10, my brother listening to DJ Jean - The Launch and I was loving it! yup, my bro used to be into raves, but I didnt know where the fack he was partying or anything back then really
I know alot of people who signed up for TA way back when it started, were involved with some raves, weither helping make them happen, or being a participant. anyone else feel that they missed out??
if anyone wants to post any of their storys about a rave they went to or anything, feel free |

| I wish I was around for them, but I don't feel I missed out as I had no idea they even existed. |

i kinda missed out on all the major ones too
but on a positive note, if we were partying all the way back then think about how much more sketch we'd be now a days:toothless |

| yes, when i was in grade 12 (2000-2001) i wish i could of been going to dance music events, and didn't even know they existed. the extent of it would be a euro invasion, but to see a trance dj back then woulda blown my mind. |

growing up in a small farm town in pennsylvania i never even knew wat electronic music was or wat raves were for that matter. but coming to canada really opened the door for what i enjoy today.
but being my age really didnt give me any oppourunity to experience raves but i know that it paved the way for the scene we have now, and im thankful for all the time and effort people put into them. |

| I'm more pissed that I missed the golden days of house in NYC rather than the underground rave days. |

| I caught the tail end of it...one or two parties. I say to get a general feel of the vibe of things, get out of North America. Or find some Underground Raves here. They still exist. |

I was around for NYC days of Twilo and some of the last golden years of the raves in Toronto (mid/late 1990's to 2000 ish.) :) some of the most fantasitc memories of my life to date. ...also some of the sketchiest night ever. some of them would ruin a budding political career if they ever got released.... good thing I'm not planning on ever having a budding political career! :D
Since I hit up my first parties around the end of grade 9 I got in pretty young but loved the atmosphere so much there was no turning back. |
