C&C were a bit lacklustre (especially compared to their NYE set) but imo still delivered the goods. (I imagine the fact that we hyped this up as party of the year didn't help much either)
Sonic was run like a tight ship, and it was smooth sailing. Glad to see those kinks worked out. :) |

review of Chus & Ceballos before 9am? come on guys?
Anyway, they destroyed the dance floor in Montreal (Friday to Saturday), the party ended at around 1:35pm (dance floor still had lots of people) over here, and they continue partying with the crowd at the Stereo Bar. I left around 3:30pm and they were still down there. |

| What a night, Chus & Ceballos kicked my ass! I can start to understand why so many people convert from trance to dirty tribal house, man it was dirty! Great to see everyone again, its 11:25am, time for sleep. |

I just love the way they interact with the crowd, Chus came down to the dance floor a couple of times during the evening. Dancing and playing around. Afterwards, when everyone came down to the Stereo bar, I was surprised to see them there, because I thought they were going to leave right away to Toronto.
They obviosuly wanted to continue partying, and down at the Stereo Bar, I had the chance to exchange some words with them. I asked if they were not going to sleep in order to destroy Sonic with their music, Ceballos just looked at me, gave me a hug, and continue dancing.
I'm sure they did an incredible job at Sonic as well. |
