Agreed. Their stuff just sounds like bland adult contemporary with euro trance presets. Even their 'big climax hooks' don't seem to carry much weight.

there's another... i never saw the hype with this. the main hook just sounds cheesy to me? isn't too bad beside that but far from the classic status everyone seems to give it

And who says itīs not a very good tune? You? And you have then the right to say itīs overrated and judge it objectively?

Now weīre talking the same as in the OMG ASot 250 topic. There arenīt any official standards of quality in the music business - what sucks for you can rock for anyone else - just too many people say the tune sucks big time it doesnīt mean itīs bad. If you would try to play f.e. Incolumnis - One With Sanctuary to someone who listens to the pop (rock, country...) music all the day, he would most probably say "Bah, itīs boring, repetitive, there are no vocals.." etc. Does it mean Incolumnis is a badly produced track? No. And there you have it.

Haha, he did NOT play Nothing But You! :D

Rocking set from PvD.

Good and bad are not objective terms in music, except if it's a skill- good guitar playing etc.

The track has a phenomenal bassline and Umeks Astrodisco remix absolutely rocks.

i would agree on Helsinki. It does sound very similar to alot of other Anjunabeats stuff. And lets face it loads of tracks nowadays sound very similar.
