According to your words it works on the other way round as well. If someone likes a track which is crap in your eyes, then he or she must be stupid.
You just have to realize that f.e. many people havenīt heard about the original mix (or Fade mix) of Silence and they only know the Tiestoīs and that itīs NOT their fault. They canīt be called stupid just because they havenīt experienced what you have. Maybe they are lazy, they have different taste than you have but that doesnīt make them stupid. |

well if it says REMIX on the track then surely theres an original. how hard is it to track it down, give it a listen and compare? |

i can deal with your opinions on the music but this is pure baloney, there isn't a single ferry-related preset in that tune.

i'm not sure you know how remixes work. your arguments hold true for adagio, but tiesto never once took credit for silence, and was never the brainchild behind it's re-release. nettwerk chose him & airscape for the re-issue, and sent out the song's source elements (acapella). both translated it into their own respective styles & sent the final products back to nettwerk... who then took care of all the promotion.
"theres a reason it was the more popular of the two..." also holds true when comparing the tiesto & airscape remixes; i suppose you're going to claim tiesto's is the more anthemic & sacharine of these two? ;/ |

naaaaah, how can you ignore something you donīt know? imagine there are people who have heard Silence (Tiesto remix) only on some party or in a club and... they liked it! Maybe they even donīt know howīs the track called. They just donīt care, they like it and thatīs enough for them (this is even much more "healthy" view of music than all these chairravers on the forums seeking desperately what track is being played just now). Are they ingorant? Of course not. |
