yeah, i know i'm getting ed. dealerships ing suck, but it was my only choice because i can't exactly take my car to a bunch of random shops to get estimates when it won't even run...
i actually opted out on the timing belt because it's not an emergency and i can get it done cheaper somewhere else, but even still, i'm gonna end up paying $1153 + tax.
the only thing that i can think of that's positive is that hopefully after these repairs are made, my car will run beautifully. also, my loan will be paid off in Sept '07 so i won't have to make any more payments on it after that. i really wanted to avoid buying a new car and having to make 4 more years of payments. i mean i know i'll get a new car eventually, but it's a Honda and it should last a pretty long time. |

yeah, if i had the freedom to do that i would... but then i have to worry about how i'm gonna get to work, how much it would cost to tow my car to another shop, and how long the repairs will take if they don't have the parts in stock. when all is said and done i might end up paying just as much and it's not as convenient... i knew if i took it to a Honda dealership it'd get done today and i'd have my car back by tonight.
this is probably the last time i'll ever take my car to the dealership though... :mad: |
