Well i've heard good things about Donnie Darko so I decided to rent it. I got to the part where they hold an emergency school meeting concerning the school vandalism and them BOOM the DVD froze. I tried the other chapters following it and they were all ed up.
So now I went back to Hollywood Video and got the original version (the first time was the Directors Cut). I'm waiting for my sister to quit watching TV cus my parents decided to take away my desktop because they don't like me playing violent video games even though i'm 20 years old and now they force me to use this 11 year old Toshiba Satellite cus they hate me. Sometimes when I put my head to their door, i hear them talking about me and my sisters. Ya well sometimes i take my computer out of the garage out and set it up in my computer overnite and wave my middle finger in the air and grab my crotch and i'm like " ya, counterstrike source OMG BOONED".
Anyways, so I'm going to watch it as soon as she's done. MY prediction is that the bunny will say that all the weird stuff the bunny is telling him and making him do has made him PREVENT the end of the world. Am i rite?
Is this movie a "cult classic" 'cus its good/thought provoking or just cus teenagers like the way the people in the movie talk? like the CHUT UP and the papa smurf talk. and the hypnosis seqeunce (i think about ing girls) |

| GOD I ing hate this movie. It's a movie that tries so effin' hard to be a cult movie it's laughable. And yet somehow it has gained cult movie stature. I was hoping it'd flop in its attempt much like Elephant did, but nope, people actually like it. Ah well. |

It tried so hard to make sense. The only good part was when that plane engine fell outta nowhere at the end. I loffle't. |

| I think its a wierd stupid movie. if people dont understand movies they give them 9/10 instead of calling them . Have u seen Mulholland Dr ?? The most obscure and meaningless movie ever. People rate it 10/10. |

It's not meaningless. Mulholland Drive pwns. You just have to actually think. Donnie Darko requires a little thinking, and even then half of that is thinking up to the point of realization at how bad it sucked. |
