I had posted a message over at the Cakewalk forums for people to come here and try and show off Rapture. René, the guy who created Z3ta+ and Rapture, replied with an MP3 of a trance-style song he did that was solely done using Rapture - drums and all.

Here is the link if interested....I think this qualifies as a part of the synth showcase:

Artist: René - creator of Z3ta+ and Rapture
Type: Trance demo song
Synth: Rapture
Song Link:http://www.rgcstuff.com/mockups/RGC_RaptureDemoXP1.mp3

hey thanks for the link... it is awesome... never thought rapture could do such damage :D cheers!

btw, it's added in the 2nd post under the track clips listing... :)

different type of sound than the usual supersaw sounds that i've been workin on lately. nothing special, just another usual sound that you would hear in a trance track.

Those sound an aweful lot like the airbase combinator patches. :)

this thread is hitting 12k views and 160 replies at this point of time. i'm sure that there are lots of producers who come to this thread for a bit of reference when it comes to choosing or evaluating synths for whatever reason they might be. thus, i'd like to once again thank you all for sharing all your sample clips (and maybe some tips? :p).

p/s: a kind reminder, if you wish to host your clips on your own server, please do drop me a pm if there's a change in file location. or even better, feel free to use the public putfile.com account for the uploads. thanks ya'll!

btw, can this thread be pinned?

Yeah and i'm guessing this thread is just to show off virtual synths. It didn't say you couldn't use other patches that were given away free to use.

Through Waves Metaflanger (only a liitle).

EDIT: Well this showed me the importance of not relying solely on headphones. Normally my headphones accentuate lower frequencies but in this case I didn't notice a horrible low tone from the sub oscillator until I played the sample through my (hi-fi) speakers.
