Did I say it was there was anything wrong with it?
I just thought they sounded similar. :)

wooHooo... i've just got my hands on a hardware synth just now for the 1st time ever. it feels sooooo good! i tried the roland sh201 at a local store nearby my office. got abit excited to show my tweaking ability to my colleague who was with me at that time. but i couldn't tweak a nice supersaw sound out of it, need to spend more time with it :) anyway, about the synth... according to the synth's spec, it has the analog modelling sound engine and with my ears to judge, i can say it is capable to create some massive supersaw lead (even the snare drums nearby rattle when i hit a note on the keyboard). i couldn't comment on the built itself tho as i'm not a regular hardware user. but it looks to me the knobs & the sliders are pretty "plastic" if you'd ask me. not sure if they're durable for hardcore users like us.

Heck yeah. Hardware is nice. My local guitar center was selling a Jp8000 used, for about 700 dollars, and even though the price sucked, the synth is awesome. Didn't realize how sick the detune and lfos were.

I know why it sounds off, the bassnotes are the same throughout the song, so the first 4 measures of the root notes are the same as the next 4, if that makes sense.
