The ableton program is so powerful...the stuff he dropped was so hot; taking melodies from one song, beat from another, and vocals from another is just amazing (I remember playmo with as the rush comes mixed together). He remixed some songs right there on the spot. In my opinion he dropped some really hot tracks...i guess it depends on the day you went (I went on 8/19). |

| Ableton seems to crash on just about everyone at least once per set. Powerful but unstable program no? I'm gonna give PvD the benefit of the doubt and say that the outdoor acoustics took away from the set. I'll probably check out his set @ Roseland unless my family requests my presence for Thanksgiving. Damn family getting in the way of trance :rolleyes: . |

All I have to say is that for an ex-fan of PvD, I ended up at six PvD events so far and therefore its just stupid at this point to miss this one. I bet by the end of the year I'll see him 8 times. LOL, it been just a weired year for me because I dont want to go but I end up going to his events because of friends dragging me and this time I actually now wanna go because I now working on some kind of personal record. Wiered I tell ya.
I liked PvD USA sets before 2002, but I still like PvD sets when he spins in Europe. The night before Love Parade & at Ibiza Closing party he rocked in such force that made me feel like I am in Twilo at 9am.

I think you're exxagerating that a bit. I've actually seen lots of DJs use it without a problem. |

Oh really? Well, I don't know too much about music software which is why I phrased my statement as a question, but so far I know it's crashed this year at G&D @ Pacha, PvD @ Summerstage both days, Armin @ Crobar, PvD @ Roseland, and I think Armin @ Tobacco Warehouse (day 1) and G&D @ BED. :sadgreen: |

Armin uses Abelton? I had no idea. Abelton also crashed for G+D @ Pacha. |

| armin doesn't use ableton. i believe he uses cd's and the occasional vinyl. |
