Maybe you are looking for the wrong type of girl? Or aren't savvy enough to pick up the kind you want?

Yeah, you missed the point. What I said wasn't meant to be taken literally. I was trying to explain the concept of self worth in a way that will help him understand the attitude he has to have in order to have confidence.

P.S. Vivid, you're a !! :D

Actually I have met plenty of girls in the past on the net. The last girl I met a few months back...it was on MySpace. The other one, was on this website about Wicca, yeah I was getting into it my freshman year in high school.

Well, maybe it's not my place to say this, but if you find a girl on a website about Wicca there is a chance she's abit messed up :p

Anyways, I say don't give up! There are good girls out there, it'll just take abit of time and luck to find one that matches your own personality, and will accept you the way you are.

sorry...I understand..he has a self confidence problem...probably low self esteem (maybe?)...definately shy...I used to be the same way too...

I'm looking for someone who will accept me. Someone who is nice and respectful. You know someone who would give me respect in return. It's a two way street for me, and I'm pretty tired of meeting people who I am so nice and respectful towards and they give me none of that in return. I don't think that's too much to ask for...

Yeah I was nieve 15 year old. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I was lost and confused, freshman year was an adjustment for me, and most of my friends from elementary and middle school formed their own groups, while I wasn't a part of them (or any). I also had a dad who could barely get out of bed due to medications he was on, so I was a bit depressed that year.

It was kind of like I am now but I'de say now I have my head on straight and am a bit more confident (even though I might not sound like I have it, it's alot better than it is, just not 100%). I'm not really depressed either. And my dad is a bit better than he was back then...

This doesn't apply to all women... but from my experience you just can't be that nice to women, always respectful and tactful but not to a point where you're almost kissing their asses. Nobody will respect someone who is kissing their ass, it's just how it goes, be affectionate but at the same be distant, act as if you don't care at first till you finally convince yourself that you shouldn't care at all...

Yeah I think I care too much and try too hard and it backfires....good insight, thanks.
