You make a good point, but in terms of the vacations and travelling, the company my dad used to work for gave travel allowances as part of working for them, which makes sense as they moved us very far from "home". All my DJing gear was painstakingly saved up by myself over a 4 year period.

and in reference to yur last point,

I have no desire to own Alon's ass.

maybe we should disolve borders and governments

speculation, where there was a very powerful leader there is now noone that the majority respects. That is a power vacumm. Also, the views between the different groups are very different, sounds like the conditions are right for civil war.

Are you saying the people respected Hussein? More like they feared him.

And civil wars, gasp, arent always bad...look at the American civil war. The end result was well worth it.

If anything its helped give me a broader perspective- many kids who are afforded a life like mine do not take advantage of it and learn very little about the countries they live in. I at least know made the most of my time abroad.

They didn't respect him, but at least they wern't killing each other and killing the people who were trying to "free" them.

Also, you want to see huge losses of life, look up how many were lost in the civil war and then think about how ty their weapons were.
