Dear GoVentures,
I went to Monster Massive last night with a VIP ticket only to find that I've spent $80 for nothing. Not only did your untrained and incompetent staff let everyone and their mother into VIP, everyone was at the bar getting free drinks. While I know you probably don't care since you already have my money, I just thought you would like to know that monstermassive was a complete waste of my time from the parking hell that some genius planned to the bothched VIP. Next time, I should just send you guys a blank check so you can screw me without the hassle of waiting for 2 hours for parking and another 1 hour in VIP.
Sincerely,
GoVenture Can Suck Mine
That pretty much sums of what I thought of MonsterMassive. I think most of the etards stuck on the floor didn't care if PVD or your momma was spinning cuz it's just another weekend to do drugs. Some of us actually go to listen to good music and the whole nightmare of parking and overcrowded and unsafe conditions was just not what the scene is to us. |

| ^ I do know how you feel I try to ignore those people, but as long as you had fun or tried to thats all that matters. i know like 10 kids from my old highschool I went to who are like Yea! monster! cant wait. i asked em how they liked it and they were like it was pretty gay, the music sucked, it was only fun because we were on E i wanted to just say OMG... and knock them out.. |

Well its prettyy mucb clear if you're above 20 the party was a bust.
But I say let the newcomer teens enjoy drugs, the sights, the sounds, etc. Eventually they grow out of it |

VIP was worth IMO, I figured if I score more than 5 drinks and 5 bottles of water, then it'd be at least equal to buying a regular ticket and several drinks at the bar.
I thought the sets were pretty banging and the atmosphere overall was fun. Lots of chicks in body paint/pasties or less. Good stuff. |

 :haha: what the hell was people expecting? Did you really think GoVentures was going to have Kettle One and Grey Goose?
Did you think that Armin, Paul and Judge Jules where going to be seating in a couch talking to you just because you pay $75 for a "VIP" ticket?
Get over yourself, you went to a all ages event and for what it was it was pretty damn fun.. Free Water, Free Juice, Free Cheap Vodka and Free Red Bull.. what else do you want?
Geesh some people...
:whip:
And the Music was not that bad either if you manage to block everything out and just have fun instead of worring about what should have been done.. next time you have such a huge line up and have fix your issues with VIP call me.. so we can go talk shyt about how everthing you did was WRONG! |

| Get over myself? Excuse me if I expect VIP to be VIP. So I guess I should be a dumbf*ck like yourself and think it's ok for promoters to screw you over. How about you and all the other etards go suck GoVenture off. |

Dude seriously... don't start a flaming war. I understand you aren't happy with the way things are managed at the event, and that's fine and dandy. Complaining here though doesn't solve much of anything. If you are pissed about the incompetent staff (to which I whole-heartedly agree that it seemed like no one had a clue), complain to Go Ventures.
At the same time I agree with TranceLover24 in some regard. If you're expecting the best alcohol, a Massive isn't the answer. If you think about the prices that the DJs command, and how much they should have spent paying competent people or building higher quality rigs and what not... then it makes sense they aren't going to stock a full bars worth of high quality alcohol. It's seriously not economical at all with how many tickets they sold if their motive is actually profit (which I bet it is). A ticket VIP doesn't really mean much except you get backstage access and a few other miscelenous "perks." A true VIP is invited for free to come and socialize. Trancelover24 I believe was trying to point that out. My guess is security was either as high as everyone else or didn't give a about doing their job or both.... that's an issue ranting here wont make any difference about. I'm sure plenty of us know what should have occured.
Point blank... VIP isn't what you thought... sorry, but that happens a lot. I guess it sucks but email them about the problems... if enough of us do... they could change or we could go into legal things if its that big of a deal.
End of it all: Did you enjoy the night outside the drama of VIP? |

Most VIP ticket holders I came across either didn't get their wristband or didn't know about the section that was outside in the corner behind the DJ set up the hill.
Who went there that got VIP? I was there. I met some TA's there also. The bar was stocked til the end of the night.
Well almost. My last drink was juice not water (which I gave to some Asian that asked for a sip...and then I saw the eyes of his friends...so I had to let it go.
Whatever dood. $30 bucks extra you paid. If you were to see Armin or Paul or Makus @ Avalon if you don't want to wait in line your gonna have to fork up some dough!
I got an idea...why don't you plan a massive event and do it better! Add some pirotecnics, some cirque du soleil acrobats. Set it up...I'm down to invest! |
