Just think whatever you want. Art can be whatever you like, and whatever you consider is art.
A DJ is a DJ. whatever else he is, it doesn' t matter, and varies between people, opinions, and DJs. Let's just agree on that atleast. |

art is something special, unique and fantastic.
example: a pic of monalisa is an art. number of "1.618" is art.
I believe something standard hardly can be considered as art.
if you considered EVERYTHING in this earth is an art, then you must go to the psychology and check your mental there. theres something wrong with your art taste.

A painting can appeal to you because you've had certain events in your life that has permanentely scarred you, or maybe the very opposite, something good that's happened, and you associate it with the piece of art.
Art is subjective too, I guess? |

Playing an instrument like a piano it takes much more practice before you can play a normal melody/song.
Sure I already hear you guys saying: "With piano you can learn to play a melody in 1 minute". But can you learn to play proper songs and entertain the audience for an whole hour with your piano in a short amount of time? No, not atleast songs that will amuse the audience.
With DJing you can play/entertain the audience for hours if you can beatmatch and have enough records. As long as you play music for them (ignoring the fact that the audience must like the tracks you play) it's allright to them. |

| Yes, but i'm really against the "modern" view of art as everything that everyone does/expresses e.g. all these "post-modern" crap such as a toilet with a toilet-paper thrown inside which presumabely symbolises a "statement"(i've actually seen that). Art it not just (any) creation, it should involve aesthetic qualities as well. Well, aesthetics are subjective but i'm sure that a toilet or any-other random modern creation would not appeal to anyone...except for "modern-art" people... |
