The fact that you posted it as, "insightful" with no other comments, incites it.
Especially when comparing to your past comments.
A couple other things I noticed:
a) The fact that he's Iranian is irrelevant to the situation (or should be) and
b) He wasn't 'probed' with the taser, he was 'drive-stunned'; a world of difference, therefore your previous comments about not being able to move, doesn't hold water. At worst, he got a good shock to the area they stunned him. It's a common compliance technique.
So remember that when you're shooting your mouth off. Learn facts. |

Couple of things. Proceeding this post you told Firestarter to learn English. Fair enough, I suppose, but I do hope you understand the difference between "your" and "you're." That would certainly help you avoid a slight amount of hypocricy.
Second, have you really been around the PDD enough to make any insightful commentary on me?
Third, I'm sorry if I didn't quite catch the insight from our dear pothead who was on that YouTube video - perhaps you can explain in detail how his thoughts somehow add to the discussion in a meaningful manner? Please be specific. |

Again, for the english impaired. I said insightful, not supportive. Don't try your ing smart talk with me. I've seen it before. I do know quite a bit facts about the situation. And yes, when you are taserd it hurts, and makes the person loose their mobility. Why, because thats the point. If it doesn't make you imobile, then why use it? the device is then praticaly useless. you know it, you're just being an ass about it.
Second, like I said, yes it was a shame that he had to go through with this, and I later on added that no matter what his ethnic backround is (Being aside that he is Persian)I don't condone the acts. Yes him being Iranian hits closer to home, but in the end, No one derserved it. And last YOU were the one shooting your mouth off right from the begining, so you gonna do that, you're going to get responses. You might want to be a bit more humane. |

Oh, iam sorry that I mispelled a word. I guess I should go to a corner and stab myself for my mistake.
Second, I do not have to be on the forums a certain ammount of time to criticize your post. I have been here long enough. Your post do not have the outmost highest authority just because you made them and be under the impression that only certain people can reply to them.
Third, there are other videos, some very interesting, that were posted. Iam sorry you have the attention span of a ing pigeon and can't be bothered to watch a couple of them. Well I did, most of them were in support of the student. Like I said, you're smart ass number 2, and you made it pretty clear. I can't beleive the ammount of arrogance that you display, thinking you're better than others on this forum..Mr. we have to know you to judge you. Whatever, if you aren't able to stand up to criticizm than dont bother. |

Why is it that every couple of months we get another one of these kids ^^^^^ show up?
You know, people who can't actually debate based on strong arguments, then get all defensive and attacking when they're told how poor their arguments really are. One thing about most people in this forum is that though we might have very different views on things, for the most part, we can respect each other because we can see how well the arguments are articulated. And then there are those like TheDemon. |

Fair enough, but I do expect a bit more substance behind any argument you are attempting to make here, and this video you posted and supported as "insightful" does not support your argument very well, and you have not described in any detail how it does as of yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe it was you who brought this video to our attention, therefore the burden is on YOU to support THIS video and no one else. Second, let's try our best to stick to what is posted, shall we? If you have other videos to bring forth, please do not have me do your homework for you by searching out for them. Rather, it would be more beneficial for your argument to present them yourself, considering this is your argument.

According to my understanding of the video.
The kid (who gets tased) screasm "don't touch me. don't touch me". And the police simply reply "Get up". Leading me to believe he was not actually leaving the library.
I think it took him several tases to realize he wanted to leave the library.... but that was how I interperted the video anyway.
Police brutality? Most likely.
Police racisim? Most unlikely. |

"Shooting my mouth off" hmmm....care to point out where I did that?
All I said was that the guy was an idiot for not complying with authority. Actually I think the word used was, "Asshat" to be totally correct.
So at what point does authority NOT do their job?
Just because the guy screams like a girl in defiance, we're supposed to feel sorry for him and be more 'humane'? Please. Stop being a patsy. I can't feel sorry for anyone trying to be a hero when they're clearly in the wrong. Sure it sounded bad but let's not forget he escalated it to that level. If he had just complied when he was asked NONE of this would have happened, never mind the local campus guys calling in actual authority WITH the tasers.
At what point exactly are we supposed to feel remorse for this goof?
All he got were some good shocks when didn't he didn't do what he was told; wow.
The only thing hurt was his pride apparently since he still has the gumption to go out, seek a lawyer and sue.
If I'm wrong then I'll appoligize later but I'm not betting on it.
Until that point we'll just have to wait for the inquiry, so let's stop with all this bs about him being a victim until the facts are out. |

I don't have a problem with people disagreeing with me on here if they can at least validate it, which you've yet to do with anyone you've responded to. Also, the inferences that you make on here just astound me. You have a serious problem with jumping to conclusions and it impairs your arguments.
