first of all, there is no double standard because us "white people" weren't killed for being white. We were not confined to the back of the bus. It goes a lot deeper than just being a double standard. Sorry to say but i think we owe a lot of respect for the shamefull things that were done in the past. And for kramer to bring up the is just wrong. What did the black guy say, "Cracker"?? So what, its a snack. Kramer crossed the line so far on this one. |
Wow- back from the dead! Hi Jeremy! |

"Who's more racist, black people or white people? Black people. You know why? Cause we hate black people too! Everything white people don't like about black people, black people really don't like about black people. There's some going on with black people right now. It's like a civil war going on with black people. And there's two sides: there's black people, and there's niggas. And niggas have got to go. "
"Books are like kryptonite to those NIGGAZ"
Every time black people want to have a good time, ignorant ass niggas it up. You can't do ! Can't do without ignorant ass niggas ing it up. Can't do nothing. Can't keep a disco open more than three weeks. Grand opening? Grand closing!
I love black people, but I hate niggas. I am tired of niggas.
Niggas want credit for something they're supposed to do... A nigga would say some like, "I take care of my kids." You're supposed to, you dumb mother******!
"I ain't never been to jail." What do you want, a cookie? You're not supposed to go to jail, you low expectation-havin' mother******!
Niggas is singing welfare carols! "On the first day of welfare my true love gave to me!" "I wish you a merry welfare and a happy food stamp!"
The politicians are trying to get rid of welfare. Every time you see a welfare story on the news, you always see black people. Hey! Black people don't give a about welfare. But niggas are shaking in their boots: "They gonna take our ."
A black man with two jobs hates a nigga on welfare. "Nigga, get a job. I got two, you can't get one?"
A black woman that got two kids, going to work everyday, busting her ass, hates a bitch with 9 kids on welfare. BITCH, STOP IN'! STOP IN'! STOP IT! PUT THE DICK DOWN! PUT IT DOWN AND GET A JOB!
But you know the worst thing about niggas, the worst thing about niggas?! Niggas love to not know. Nothin' make a nigga happier than not knowing the answer to your question. Just ask a nigga a question, any nigga. "Hey, nigga, what's the capital of Zaire?" Ha-ha! I don't know that ! I'm keepin' it real! Niggas LOVE to keep it real. Real DUMB.

Me too. If anything, I've always felt he is very even with his observations of people. He rants about black people in much the same way that he would people of other color. Ultimately, I think his aim is similar to one that other comedians who look for comedy within the racial divide:
We all have differences- some of those differences happen to be quite funny. Lets just laugh about them instead of getting so serious all the time. |

Let's all remember that Canada isn't completely inncocent on charges of racism and opression. The Native Americans (and by that, JayX1, I mean NORTH Americans - so let's not get into semantics here)have had a pretty rough shake. This isn't about US culture or Canadian culture, it's about our Western culture. Our collective culture is historically wrought with opression and slavery and all sorts of naughtyness.
The bottom line here is it's not about paying for someone else's crime, it's about respecting that there was a crime and having sympathy for those affected - directly or indirectly. For example, anti-semetism. I didn't take part in any of the opression felt by Jews over thousands of years, but I sure feel bad that millions of them were murdered by the Nazis. I'm English, my ancestors have a long and proud military tradition - including D-Day and the rest, but that doesn't give me the right to rag on people of the Jewish faith.
No sooner would I call a gay man a ******. It's rude and inexcusable.
It's about respect, and MR showed a distinct lack of it on stage. |

We were talking about blacks though. Natives are a different story and they do not have a nice history thats for sure. However the conituation of their situation today could be easily fixed if they wanted it to be.
But i object when people try to use american history when it comes to the treatment of blacks against canadians. It's not just at all |

It's sad to see how uneducated the majority of Canadians, such as yourself Jay, are concerning this issue. It's time to get off the unjustifiable perennial Canadian Moral HIGH-Horse JAY.
Here's a gift.
It's a good read.!!! CLICK HERE !! |
the link you gave me doesnt work. but from what i read, fleeing americans brought slaves with them to canada during the revolution. And it also said that the first practice of slavery in Canada was acutally committed but the native indians. Considering the numbers it was relatively small and for a very short history and practiced by fleeing loyalists. It appears that Canada moved quickly to abolish this practice. We were also the last stop on the underground railroad for emancipated US slaves.
So i still stand by my original point. A few british loyalists kept slaves for a brief time here, but it was never institutionalized and never really tolerated and we were the refuge for freed slaves in the US. And that makes me proud to be a Canadian when it comes to this topic. |

Or would we be asking what chris rock was on?
Luckily i can take a joke so when chris rock makes fun of white people i dont cry about it. But im sick of people getting mad when a white comic tells the same jokes as a black one yet the white guy is somehow a racist. |
the point is Chris Rock is joking. Michael Richards was not. |
