i've read through most of this thread and agree with you on the dutch footballers and their fame. id even go to say johan cryuff would be the most famous. he did invent one of the most famous moves in football.
the reason why the americans dont no about the footballers is because footballers to them are guys wearing helmuts and padding playing a game that is only understood and watched by the american people.
anyway anyone who says ruud cant hit a penalty is full of it. so he missed one last week for real madrid. big deal! he missed around 8 penalties in 5 years at man utd maybe less. he hit 12 in one season which is a great record. my choice for the penalty agaisnt cetic would have been rooney after his form last saturday. |

hes missed two penalties for Real Madrid on different ocassions at Bernabeu. The one against Lyon could've won us the game. The first one was against Celta Vigo, which we lost as well..that penalty wouldve saved..
He makes up for it scoring regular goals though..so i'm not complaining..he's a great player. |

It's not worth it. The audio will feature a lot of commentary about countries and their medal hopes, while the video will watch them and not Tiesto. |
