I think it would be somewhere in the realm of the rap world. The DJs with record labels probably make the most money. More popular the label = more money. |

Grandmaster Flash is damn near the poor house dude,he never got the money he deserved. NO Dr. Dre was NEVER a DJ, that was Yella in NWA. He's a PRODUCER 1st and foremost and hes worth in the neighborhood of $250 million+ |

The GrandmasterFlash thing is sad to hear, he deserves a lot for all he's done. But Dr. Dre was most definately a dj, i've seen him behind the decks on some tribute video they showed on B.E.T. It was maybe before he got famous, even before NWA, not sure. |

They dont, but promoters buy them for the DJs.
