In his Glory days, Oakey was $50,000 for 2 hours. And on a big holiday weekend in like 2001 he got $50,000 per hour...I think he played for 90 minutes that night because of the rate and the place lost a lot of money still.
Then on NYE, a couple hundred thousand. Know of one just a few years ago after his main glory days where he still got $150,000 on NYE. And that promoter almost lost him due to late payment and would have played at another party for 1/3rd that cost just to piss the original promote off. But I guess the promoter came through at the last minute.

how the would you know? i got the information from ferry's manager, if hes full of well..i dont know, but i think he would be a reliable source. He did say Hawtin as Plastikman, aka Live act. He dosen't do that often. |

yep, but sold them all after they were doing good, smart move from him, plus his wife is famous too so they r making pretty good dough!, and rumors are that he might have a residency @ pacha next summer so that's gonna be a nice chunk of change i presume |
