lmao, just shut the up, i know im right about how the business works you blithering idiot. I presented different cases of how it can work. I'm also done with backing up that hawtin gets 90k, i stated from the start that it was what i heard from ferry's former manager, if it's true or not i simply don't give a .
go learn some mathematics and also understand that every club in every country does not operate the same way. |
Most clubs do, and most clubs that are big enough to book Hawtin certainly do
You are out of your league son, spewing out your ass when youve been told by numerous people you are wrong doesnt make you look cool |

Put this in perspective here, Trentemoller's contract states a fee of 10,000 euro's and i know this for a fact as I've seen his contract as we've tried to book him. (by the way we had him over in september 05 and he cost 1000€ (what a difference a year makes)
hawtin is far bigger draw than him, so you do the math. |
lol ?
My friends just booked him for 1500, other people for the same price
I think you have your figures wrong |

| Tayfoon has a lot of good points, they just aren't being well recieved due to the way they are being phrased. |

wrong about what? i study business administration and i know promoters personally, so if anyone is spewing here is you. i don't need to look cool in a forum either and being told im wrong by a bunch of dumbs makes no difference on how i look. You on the other hand seem to always get told you have no ing idea, and now i see why. |

Not to mention the number of times this:

...has applied to him in other threads...which makes it funny to read now :p
Perhaps if he didn't present his arguments with such an air of superiority and self-righteousness people might listen to him... |

Bull is bull, whether it thinks it's better than you or it wants to be your friend. |

Of course I do.
I can upload the contract if you want and you can have a look-see. As I pointed out, we had him playing in sep 05 and he cost 1000€ back then, the person promoting the night so happened to be my brother.
I'm not saying his fee isn't negotiable, but his contract states 10,000 euros so I doubt very much your friend booked him for 1500 euro's while his contract said otherwise. |

Couldn't it be that this Trentemoller dude charges far less in the US because he's less known there, and knows for a fact that wouldn't get a single gig there charging the amount of money he's asking for a European gig?

Chesco, its a bit naive to think every gig a DJ plays have the same written agreement.
I won't question the amount it cost to book Trentemoller in Europe, but its also very possible he cost a lost less where he isn't so popular.
DJs are not like public transport. The amount of money paid per gig can be as little or high as they can rinse the promoter out of. |

Well I never really took into account the difference between the US and europe, I can only go by the contract we were sent, tayfoon appears to know differently tho. |
