it was Saddam's tyrannical iron fist that kept that country together, now it's just in shambles for EVERYONE living there, not just one group of people. Seriously, how DO you live in New York?

Yes and Hitler kept Germany in order also, we should of left him be.

And your point?

If i had a picture of you and Dahmer would that make you guilty?

My point? Hypocrisy and ignorance at its best. Defend it if its the only way you feel you can get out of the corner you are backed into. But that right there is some bull.

Probably not since the 80s has there been something significant, most of the oil comes from Saudi Arabia if Im correct.

Are we forgetting that Rumsfeld has been a significant figure in world politics since the 70s? You do what you have to do to keep yourself happy. There is no such thing as hypocracy when youre dealing in foreign relations... everyone is a hypocrite, some more than others, but this is how stuff gets done. Theres no room for nice guys in political office, youll get eaten alive. Which is why the spinelss libs can hardly manage a vote in congress, until this year... but it had nothing to do with the liberals being better, it has to do with people just not liking Bush and thinking this will actually help the country.

It has a lot to do with their own personal interests and not the countries.

the two parts of your statement have absolutely nothing to do with each other. and your statements against liberals are tiring and nonsensical. who ran the house for DECADES prior to newt gingrich's contract with america? right, democrats. go away now.

It was a completely different breed of democrats. You cant compare the democrats of old with the new.

i seem to recall that old-school republicans were a lot nicer than the neo-cons of today. see lincoln. in tough times, he tried to unify, not polarize.
