If you weren't even sober this morning, then how were you almost sober when they took you to detox? And theresa was correct when she said that they took you to the detox because they had to make sure you were taken care of. They are required by law to leave you with somebody who will take responsibility for you. My roommate at school got caught after drinking a load and the police asked me if i would look after him. They said that either they could leave him with me, or if i didn't want them to then he would go to a holding cell for the night to sober up. Thats just the way it works. |

don't worry muffin pants, i didn't drink until i was 18 and out of high school.
but then i graduated from high school....went to germany for a month...and started drinking.
so i recommend you go on a far away travel...drink the local stuff, and join the rest of us alcoholics :P |

Simple as to get drunk here. With a legal age of 18, and a serving age (not legal but its generally easy to have got served from 16 onwards for guys, and depending on makeup/tatas for girls earlier) to just WALK to a field or place, get drunk, have a laugh & walk home. No need to even bring cars into it, if you can't drunk-walk a couple of miles max then just get a taxi or something. for all the things the uk loses on, this is easy & no college gives a if you get drunk so long as you don't do so in class |
