I've had my run-ins with the law, but i now understand that it was ME who was wrong for breaking a law that i knew was there whether i liked it or not.

ok ok ok, this kind of stuff has been bugging me and i have always meant to ask...
WHY THE WOULD SOMEONE PUT ME IN A "DRUNK TANK"?
tell me what is legal and what isn't in the states please:
-drinking while walking on the sidewalk
-being drunk while walking on the sidewalk
-drinking AND being drunk while driving on a sidewalk
-riding a car while drunk (which apparently is illegal too)
-being drunk at 8 in the morning
-being faced in a bar
-being faced in a bar, and drinking more
what gets you "thrown in the drunk tank"? starting fights? acting stupid? i don't get it. if i do something that breaks the law, throw me in jail. if i'm just retarded drunk, let me go the home, and call me a cab.
on another note:
Caela. that kinda sucks. but you shouldn't be drinking, because you're not legal. lose. you lost the second you took the breathalizer, i'd of just called a cab right off the bat. and they sure as hell are not taking me in if I AM LEGAL AND I'M NOT DRIVING. i mean, i can understand them giving you a citation for being underage, but damnit, your friend that's 21 and got taken in sure as hell got a raw deal. meh, i guess i am just used to living in a country where you can bribe the cops that give you tickets with your booze. |
