I KNOW PROMOTING NEEDS TO CHANGE! He has been posting flyers up in downtown and psted in the new times.
There can be more.. but thats a hell of alot more than what any other person has be doing as of lately.
liquified attempted to come to miami didn't they? their first party never even happened and went back to only atlanta bookings.
Sprits is fine for Broward folks. But i highly doubt ppl that get wasted would like to drive much farther when they can hear new music.

Nope, comparing Miami to other cities.
I also don't remember Liquified ever doing parties in Miami. They used to have a bunch of successful parties in L.A. though.
Another Atlanta promoter, Surface, tried to bring some parties down to Miami though last year if I'm not mistaken. |

they have had bigger and better night outside of miami.. so have other SMALLER dj's.

Melly please calm down. The party with Thomas Datt has not even occurred yet and no one on here is bashing that event. We were actually discussing what happened with the Bronzwaer event after MiamiLawDJ posted his disappointment with that night. So some points were discussed and suggestions made to the promoters to HELP not hurt the future events.
I do not think anyone is attacking you, personally or otherwise. I know I wasn't, I have no reason to, even if you hate me or my points. Do not lose site of the forest through the trees Melly, we are giving constructive criticism of this past weeks' event to try and help make the next ones better. I think we all only want good things for this party. Anyone who tries to bring trance to this city is good in my book and deserves a chance. Hating is not and never has been my intention. Peace. |

Understand a few things..
this scene is all about networking to the common person, however..the common person walks into a club expecting free entrance and open bar and free bottles because they are walkign in with 100 bux in drugs and have to pay an extra 20 for parking to get in.. as it is they are already tapped otu and dont wanna pay anything. you have these superclubs that play house music but make it so easy for people to get in and have a good time because unlike a small club they dont have to rely on EVERYONE to pay and to drink..they still make money.
I am sorry to Hear about Thomas and his night colleen :( I know that if the party had reached the ears of more people that it would have been a blast. I just hope this does not discourage people from going to the other parties held at the venue, as each club (or in this case..each of the 5 rooms) in that venue belong to a different owner, and each promotional team is different.
Until the right promotions and marketing are done, trance will still stay locally as a specialty genre and fill only smaller clubs while the masses will flock to the tiesto's and armin's because they think its just the cool thing to do. :( it.
Thomas Datt deserves a good audience. I will be going.

and koky- that's cool. Not trying to hate but alot of these ppl saying things only about this one dude instead of including all other small parties. The date is prob the first Friday of the month or something along those lines.
