Don't remember it from Friday, but it's great.

I'm really surprises at how many people thought SS were THAT good. I mean I don't know but they remind me too much of Junkie XL in the sense that once you have seen them once....you have seen them a thousand times. To me, all their sets sound the same and never really fit between DJ sets which is why they should always be the opener. Not to mention the sounds was absolutely horrible when they were playing.

yea i can see why you would say that...i mean this was my first time seeing them. i thought they were enjoyable, but i definitely understand where ur comin from.

I'm with most y'all here - here's how I would have lined it up:

1. DJ from downstairs (sorry dude, can't remember your name)

2. Marcus

3. Sander

oh. you ask where is second sun in the line up? Well... they are in the audience, scaring unsuspecting trippers. :clown: :disbelief :eyes:  :nervous:  :nervous:

Sorry, they sucked. All the jumping behind the keyboard made me feel like laptop was running the show and synths were there just as props.

I dunno - they totally killed the mood for me. bleh. Oh, and I must comment on HOW SH!TTY the soundsystem was. Depending on where you stood, your ears where either bleeding from highs or from lows or from muddiness. I walked all over and could not find a single "sweet spot", where sound was clear, crisp and not painful.

Oh, and FOBs where in FULL EFFECT. Jeez, I don't know what kind of crap these fools are on but why are they the only people I see either plastered on the floor or about to be plastered? One dude nearly puked on me, another one just collapsed as his friends picked him up, bunch of wasted "hello kitty" girls who looked like they were zombies. Ugh. :wtf: I ain't racist but... damn! :nervous:

As if that wasn't enough to ruin the mood, 2nd Son fools got on stage and totally killed the vibe. And those DRINK PRICES!!! Jeebus! I'd have to sell my house pretty soon to afford drinks at those prices!
$15 for cheap vodka and adrenaline rush crap????!!!! :whip: I asked for Grey Goose - the bottle said Grey Goose but what they poured was not. I swear they fill those bottles with some cheap ass vodka and sell it at premium. I never have a hangover after GG - but next morning my head was ready to explode - which was just adding injury to the insult, as I knew that what I drank (and overpaid for) was not Grey Goose.

The only highlight of the night was Sander. I'd definitely come out and see him again (but not in Pacha). Saw bunch of TAs front and center, looked like you guys were having fun.

Parting Shot: The mohawked dude from 2nd Son looks scaaaaaary :nervous: Wow, could it be meth??? :wft: :nervous:

Hey, that's you I was talking about - heheeh. You rocked it downstairs! Loved the sound and vibe too. The sound system was definitely better downstairs, not to mention the track selection and vibe. I would have preffered you guys filling in the 2nd sun slot. Great job!
