Thanks emc! This was our first time working with Made on an event like this. The basement is def a cool room to take a break or hear some different beats and rock out.

I had a blast; it was definately worth eating only sandwiches this week to splurge for the vip table. We got there around 11:30; with no time to waste getting comfy or situated; 0-rockin' out in 3 seconds. But I'm not complaining. Just a lot comin' atcha at once.
I LOVED Sanders set. That's exactly the kind of trance I'm feelin' right now.
AS for Markus and Second Sun, I don't think either were bad; or that they were put in the wrong time slots; it just so happened that the NYC crowd was there to see Sander; so no matter what, SS and MS were SOL right from the getgo.
My first time for second sun; and I did enjoy them. I don't necessarily think they were a buzzkill; Sander set some pretty high standards for them to get to.
I think the problem with them is that they simply weren't loud enough. It was noticably softer than Sander; and that I think had a huge impact on "how hard they hit".
I REALLY wasn't feelin' Markus set; but I haven't been into any sets along those lines lately...I'm beocming less of a trance fan every day; or I should say; just WAY pickier about what I like. |

BTW; I had the funniest stalkers EVER this night!
The supreme winner though; was the dude trying to hit on me stating that he just released a mix cd; and alllll the big guys love it! Tiesto emailed him etc.... (prob. his friend on myspace.) Followed by DJ Rap called me the other day... I saved it I'll show you in my phone!
So of course I ask, so you produce? He says naaaahhh... not yet but all the worlds biggest dj's can't wait for him to get started. And the table he was sitting at was his "fan club".
I tried so hard to take all this in with a straight face.
It get's better. So I'm telling him about my friend Tommyboy (Tom Colontonio) getting signed to Discover (and the dude never heard of Discover).. so then onto Tyas; whom he'd never heard of earlier. So my dumb ass decides to text him "Look up Sean Tyas"...
Before I left Pacha; I had 2 voicemails, and by the time I woke up SAturday night; 5! All them going "I can't get you out of my mind" "You're so amazing" Babble this babble that....

Is it just me or does Markus spin a little like Armin? The way they both speed and crank up the next track and fade it in. I am no expert but that was the vibe i was getting.
Also, no disrespect to Markus...at some points during the night he looked like a REAL Monster! It was freaking me out. |

I saw Markus (from behind) in the booth early on and I though he was Sam.Amir laughed at me when I pouted once realizing that it wasn't Sam. |

Yea, this guy, who was he and where are those videos!
Markus did look like a SEA CREATURE mixed with a EVIL TROLL but I really really enjoyed his set. Markus is the . I really didn't get to enjoy sander's set as much as I would have liked because about 30 minutes after we got there my girlfriend dropped her pack of smokes somewhere out on the dance floor which had 90 bucks and her ID in it. I spent most of sander's set scrounging around the crowd and getting kicked in the head looking for it and trying to calm her down out in the smoking area. After she calmed down we came back in to catch the very end of sander and really enjoyed ss and markus. Was a really awesome night other than that and spending like.. $200 on drinks because I had to pay for mine and two other girls because one lost her money and it was the other one's birthday to whom I promised drinks. |

That's a shame!
I have great video of second sun; but after that I was too drunk and not interested enough; and for Sander I had to give my camera up :( |
