Aren't prostitutes actors too? They're the theatre actors that act for the direct audience (people who buy the prostitute for the hour) while the porn stars are the TV actors with an indirect audience (random people who buy their porno DVD).

No, I still don't think they're prostitots.
And besides, porn stars get checked before every movie for any kind of STD and such and exchange results with whom ever they are going to be having sex with. |

Difference being, you're not typically agreeing to being punched on the street. You're being attacked. In a ring, you are both agreeing to a fight for sport.
In both prostitution and pornography, all parties are fully aware and fully supportive of all skin slapping and hoe tapping. |

Yes, but don't prostitutes do too? Like when you go to Vegas the nappy headed hos in those houses get checked and have cards to say they're clean, right?
I guess technically porn stars are not prostitutes although they are doing the same thing for the same reason. I mean that's like saying, "You can NOT cook for ANYONE for money, unless of course we video record it and distribute it to people who want to buy it." |

| With porn stars there are contracts and some women ,( I don't know about the men ), but some women have a short list of who they will sleep with and won't work with anyone but the names on that list so at least they familiarize them selves with only a short few....a ho will sleep with anyone for za moolas. |

As someone who has worked in a few different aspects of the adult industry I can tell you it isn't prostitution. There is nothing sexy to the performers...trust me. Its all an illusion while the track marks on the street walker aren't;)
even if you both agree to fight on the street you are still usually arrested. |

| It's all acting to me. You wake up, go to work, get hair/make up and wardrobe done. Go on set, read your lines over once or twice, go over what will happen and voila you star taping. It's not all glamorous ing either. Some shots have to be taken 5, 6 times and after having to try and pop a boner 6 times in 20 minutes with doing nothing but sliding it in and out of her ..it's pretty dull. Hos don't have second takes. |

Some porn stars don't have a choice with whom they sleep with when they first start out in the bizz (usually the uglier ones or ones who start off in small porn companies). |
