Wow, what a night!!! Joof was on fire!!!

I just got back from dropping Joof at the airport and he expressed how much he enjoyed last night wth everyone. He's got a gig in Toronto and he hopes to come back again really soon. He felt really bad not being able to make the dinner. If it wasn't for his cancelled flight, he would've made it for sure had he arrived much earlier as planned. He only had about 3-4 hours of sleep after his gig in LA friday. He was very burned out and needed his rest to be 100% for last night. He definately delivered!! :)

Thanks to Dave T, Rich, Rizen, Disko Dave, , Blurr, GypsyGirl, Lexx, and the rest of the TA bunch that we're there for my set. I had such a great time and hoping I can do it again. A BIG thank to Taj for giving me this opportunity to play with one of my favorite djs. Rich, super thanks for looking out as well and believing that I can do the job.

The only part of my night that was unfortunate was the cdj stopping itself while playing. I thought it was my CD but soon realized it was the pioneer. A big thanks to Marie for getting it swapped.. :) She saved the day or should I say night. :)

A great night and a great VIBE!!! The crowd really made the night what it is. :)

One question??? Where were the Go Go Girls??? (Go Go Gorgeous) :D

Next week!!!

jk....i'm really jealous though and i cannot wait till we move to the bay because the 2 hour drive there and back is grueling and when you partied way past sunrise the previous 2 nights, its impossible to face that drive. we grabbed dinner and were so exhausted that we decided to pass on the night and ended up falling asleep around 11pm!

anyways looks like everyone had a great time. when we move to the bay this summer we can finally go to all the parties we want because we won't have face the drive to and from Sac!

Yah, props to Rich. When I mentioned to Taj how great your set was, he made it clear to "thank Rich" for speaking up and saying you should open. :p

Ish, I've been hearing great things about your set last night. I'm glad it went well. Congratulations! I hope to see you open more from headliners.

I also heard it was a pretty packed house also. The one day where I choose not to come, turns out to be a slammin' night. I'm glad everyone else had a great time.

I'm so tired... got a few hours of sleep and was out all day but here are some pictures along with the J:eyes:F enlargement I quickly did. Matt if you want it for a shirt let me know so I can fix it up.

I'm encoding an hour long video at the moment and will upload it sometime later this week. also im not sure if blurr backed up my pocket camera's data or if i erased it accidently... it had few pictures i took w/ the J:eyes:F print out before and at the dinner and video of ish/j00f. blurr please tell you copied it to your laptop and i wasn't that faded :nervous:

it was also nice meeting gypsygirl and good to read you're back home safe :)

I'll add more later if I get a chance

Man i wish I could stay all the way until the end of the nights...when a large part of who is left is "the family" ala the TA family...the Ten15 family. The hardcores.

But I have a baby to worry about at home and also have to worry about being on call for work...so those days are over for me -- I'm lucky to be there later than 4am or 4:15am!!!

As an opening act, I think Ish's was the best I heard since last July when Alain Octavo and Syd Gris tag-teamed as an opener for Armin (the EPIC Monday night (July 3rd) party....co-winner of my favorite trance night of 2006 (tied with SvD at Ten15 last January :p)). Although, I only heard about 1 hour, 15 minutes of his opening set since we decided to go to Shawn Yapas place for a little while first. I saw Ish's set being more about substance than full on progression...besides, probably not a good idea to slowly progress into J00F's style. Just how the vibe works in parties with this style of music!!

BTW, that's it. I officially now see myself as a big ole fatass again...Time to prep myself to go back on my old eating lifestyle (it still boggles me why I stopped when I loved the food....just having to spend an hour+ on most nights prepping dinner is such a hassle! -- worst part is that it's so expensive!).

I lost 80lb before and kept it off for nearly two years....should be able to lose what I've put back on. Cause damn my cheeks look like they are gonna explode!

Wonder where my boy gets his cheeks from!!

Awesome night. I didn't get there till 11:30pm and caught most of Ish's set, the other half of the time was spent in the basement checking out DJ Blurr and Artimus Prime. Wow it's been a while since I've been to 1015 and the basement looks totally different. I like it. JOOF was excellent, I had to leave early so I didn't stay till the end but hopefully he'll be back soon. Thanks to Ish for hooking me up with the guestlist. I tried to get there before 11pm but I didn't how bad traffic was from driving from Sacramento. Next time I have to leave earlier. Can't wait for Christopher Lawrence next month, hope he plays more psy but anything he plays should be good.
