had an awesome night at j00f!!!
starting with Ish, his set was a good build up for j00f's set... sure everyone is aware with the cdj mess up... (too bad that happened), but i want to give Ish props for the recovery! that was such a killer track u started with! i think it surpirsed everyone and by the time the first bassline hit, no one remember bout the cd-j stopping! :D well great opening set after all!
j00f... it's just great! my first time seeing him, and i think he really took me on a trip on trance! i like how he masterfully chain a series of classic, epic, progressive, techno, and psy trance thru out the night! and awesome that he played "cj bolland - the prophet" what a classic track!!!
Taj... i never see him play this way, way to continue the energy from j00f's set! his set was full of psychadellica too!!! awesome taj!!!
becoming insane definitely got everyone going crazy!!! i was singing my lungs out! haahha
great night overall... partying with TA make 1015 feels like home!

Thank you to all the TA's & non-posting Ta's that made this night INSANE!!!:crazy: WOW!! What a mind blowing experience!! It was frickin nuts!! The community, vibe, atmosphere & ever growing positive direction 1015 Saturday nights have been going in would not be the same without you! I thank all of you for your devotion & love that you keep bringing week in & week out!

LOL, all I clearly remember about Taj's set is him playing DJ JamX & Dumonde-Elektrisch (Original Mix) about 50bpm higher than the track was produced at hahahaaaa. I was walking out and heard it kick and run back to hear it before I left.
That track can be tough to transition into too because of how the intro is setup. Wish I had SvD's edit of it cause it sounds like his edit was to make the transition easier. :p |

I'm finally rested enough to sit down and write a reply. WHAT AN INSANE NIGHT! From Ish's SICK opener, to J:eyespop:F's KILLER set and then Taj to keep the place JUMPIN until 6am, an all around great night of music and good friends. I went into the night never seeing John before and never hearing Psy-trance in a club. Now I definitely love the RELENTLESS hard pounding beats.
I came with my best friend Brooke and also my friends Adam and Jes came from Sacramento. It was their first time at 1015 and all of them LOVED the club and had an AWESOME time. Taj, thanks again for all the hospitality for my friends and I. You just got 3 new fans for life.
Ish, loved how you built up your set perfectly into John. Got the energy going in the crowd and it never stopped.
John's set was crazy. Everyone going nuts! :crazy: Loved it, and one of the nicest DJs that I've met.
Taj, what an awesome mix of songs in your set. You had me jumpin until closing (as usual ;)) ALL BANGERS ALL MORNING ALL THE TIME! :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop:
Great to see all the TAs and meet all the new ones. As for the rest of Sunday after 1015, here's a quick synopsis:
-crackheads/Adult Swim cartoons live @ the End up with a random drop of a Whitney Houston song
-laughing
-traffic
-not laughing
-laughing again
-seeing the entire city of San Francisco
-Brain Wash
-traffic
-Asleep in Sacramento by 7:00pm.

raoul's the reason i love jOOf!!! he talked me into going up to SF 2 years ago to 1015 to see him and i instantly fell in love with john's sound! my review soon of the weekend. yesterday i was up from 5:30 am and didn't get home until 8:00 pm last night. i was still in recovery mode. :crazy: |
