So what did you think? The good, the bad, and the ugly?
I personally enjoyed it MUCH more this year than any year that I've been. After I get some rest, I'll post a full review.
G'nite! |

Highlight for me was getting pictures and autographs with Tony & Jono over at their merchandise booth and then hearing them play the best set I've ever heard! They were on top of the world, above & beyond, really!
More to come after some zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's!

Just got home form EDC (and a lil Avalon Post-Partyin').
All in All, an amazing night.
Just two quick summaries from the main stage:
Oakey was strong, with a really good dynamic set. I was quite impressed since the last time I saw him perform, it was largely just straight off his CD, but his set at EDC was a nice blend of solid tracks.
Above & Beyond - Well, what can I say. I've never been dissappointed and tonite was another night the A&B totally delivered. Crowd was really hyped, and it was the uplifting and energetic set that we've come to love and enjoy from the Anjunabeats masters.
Favorite Track of the night - Hernan Cattaneo - Enjoy the Silence.
Definately the best EDC I've been to. |

I agree with everything you said above. A&B from the bleachers was out of control...I can't imagine what it was like down there -
Infected Mushroom was off the hoooooooook! |

oakenfold was the worst performance of the night. some of his tracks were good but his mixing was sloppy as hell.....like he's not even trying. |

I'm from philly, I had a really good time, but I was really shocked at the what ppl wear out here. The number of 15 yr olds prancing around in underwear looking like whores was quite disturbing. I understand it's the style or whatever, but I saw more ass cheeks than I would at a beach, wasn't quite expecting that. I enjoy seeing a nice woman's body just as much as anyone else, but I felt like a dirty pedophile at times, and some of the older women were just nasty.
Don't get me wrong, I love seeing all ages, young people enjoying the music. It gives me hope for a scene that is dying on the east coast. Our normal chick rave attire is sneakers (heels for 12 hours? no way!), pants with at least 7 pockets, & a skimpy top or sports bra.
I really enjoyed Nicholas Bennison's set, he rarely comes to the east coast so I was glad to catch him. Floated around for the rest of the time, enjoyed everything I heard. I really liked that venue, I hope it's there again next year. |
