ATTN NO SPOILERS FROM ME
Just watched at Morningside & 401, No nerds at all and just the thugz :)
The film was outstanding! I myself give this 9/10, the only flaws IMO was the typical Hollywood cheesy love scene in the middle of a battle scene. The ultra fast editing and camera shots done by Michael Bay was a little too annoying from time to time. Example: scenes that did not need this editing effect, he would apply it. (Sam walking on the streets or some )
GO WATCH THIS ASAP!

the movie was pretty entertaining .. lots of nerds in the theatre tho cheering at almost every scene. if you try not to think about the plot so much you'll actually enjoy it lol

i know what they're cheering at, but i subdued the nerd in me and refrained from cheering too. gotta impress the 6 girls that were in the theatre man.. reprazent

sorry IMDB lacked some serious info .. the movie is called Cloverfield
sounds like another Alien blockbuster but ala. Blair Witch Project..

A teaser trailer was shown prior to the screening of Transformers. The trailer consisted of raw camera footage. During the trailer a group of young adults were seen throwing a party for a friend who is moving. They feel vibrations and assume that it is an earthquake and quickly evacuate to the rooftop. Once there, they see explosions and debris flying. At the end the Statue of Liberty's head hits the street right in front of them. The title of the film was not shown during the trailer. [2]

the japanese bashing was uncalled for though ... the japanese did invent transformers.
I was the first to BOO that cheesy love scene and the theater followed after. |
