Myra we actually had that table for quite a while. I think they just sort of took our table away when none of us were at it. It had to have been like 3 or 4 in the morning. Also I thought we got 2 bottles? I don't remember lol. Anyway, I just remember it working out for us because with everyone involved it was like 50-60 bucks a person and we got the whole bottle of vodka. That was fun :D |

I remember that night pretty vividly, and I wasn't ed up at all - we seriously had that table for about an hour and a half, tops.
That whole night was a rough one for me - and really, the only things that saved it were getting molested by Desyn Masiello and the ch0p thread that came of it. |

In a way, I like how expensive the drugs are over here.
Even though I'm an occasional user, I'm pretty much against drugs after seeing them wreck a lot of my friend's lives (some people need self control).
High prices keep people's consumption down...to a degree. |

hmmm i think u j ust think that because you're counting the time from when the DJs started. we got that table early....like way before it started getting good
and i remember going back and forth from the DJ area to the table for a good 40 min or so.... so add that 40 minutes on top of like the 30 min or so when we first got it.. |

Those are club prices, you can usually get cheaper if it's at a person's house during the day.
Remember that our dollar is weaker than yours, so $300 of ours is probably around $210 of yours.
The main price difference is in coke, because we can't make that ourselves, whereas you guys have a steady supply from South America.
When I said I've dropped $600, that could involve the following:
Taxi to club: $20
Entry: $80 for a big event
Pills: $90
Alcohol: $140
Taxi to second club: $15
Entry: $20
Alcohol: $100
Cab home: $30 |
Those prices are outrageous. I don't know, maybe it's because USA and Australia have a lot higher standard than Croatia (where I live), but still... I don't need more than 60-90 kn for a night out (that's $10-15 since $1 equals 6 kn).
Bus/tram ticket is 8 kn ($1.3), entry is usually free if there's no special event. If there is, it's usually 30-120 kn ($5-15). Ecstasy is like 30-60 kn ($5-10), but I don't do drugs so I can't be sure. Alcohol is also cheap, if you buy it at store before going to clubs, half a liter of beer is 5-15 kn ($0.8-2.5), depending on brand. Beer at clubs is a bit more expensive, 12-20 kn ($2-3.3). For other drinks I'm not sure, but for example, one shot of vodka is around 12 kn ($2), while red bull vodka is 20 kn ($3.3).
My night out is rather cheap. I avoid drinking at clubs, I drink no more than one drink per night because I think those prices are total rip off, I can get drinks for 1/4 a price at regular stores. So, I live in a small town, I go out walking, so no need for bus or anything. I need no more than 6 beers (3 liters), that costs me around 30 kn ($5) at the store. At clubs I buy one more, so that's another 15 kn ($2.5). Chewing gum costs me 5 kn ($0.8) and hamburger (when I get hungry) costs me 10 kn ($1.6). In total, that would be no more than $9.9. :gsmile: |

It's all relative though.
How many kn would the average 18 year old, and the average 30 year old earn in Croatia?
Over here the figures would be somewhere along the lines of $200AU per week and $1000AU per week...which means the average 18 year old can afford 6 pills a week.
Also, when I say I've dropped $600 in a night, that's only on my biggest, baddest weekends. The average night is usually around $120 if I'm drinking, and $50 if I'm not. |

Well, average salary in Croatia is around 4500 kn ($750), but it can go anywhere from 2000 kn ($333) to 15000 kn ($2500), latter being very rare and usually in cases of politicians, very good doctors and such. |
