Not only is it expensive, it's quality too. That's why hardly anyone over here does it.
Mostly pills and speed.
Apparently ice is getting popular too, but I only know one or two who've tried it.

how rich are you people. I pay 20$ on a bar tab once a month and I call that getting loose. :nervous: |
$20 will buy you precisely 3.33333333333333333333 beers at a club here, so $20 will get you no where.
Even at a bottle shop, $20 will only buy you a couple of six packs of cheap stuff, or a six pack of imported beer. |

4 beers (house beers) or 3 spirits. Barely.
That's one night out, not even. No way you can go out and only spend $20, unless you're getting sloshed at home first.
As for Coke - No one really does it here. Seriously. |

| That's because I go to bars instead, where drinks are served without a swift kick in the nuts. 20$ gets me a huge pitcher of good beer, or two pints and two shots of rum, which is usually what I get. |

It is about 13,500-14,000km to the eastern seaboard of Australia from middle of South America over a very big ocean, it is about 4,500km between South America and the southern US, plus it is connected by land.
That and the navy is kind of frisky so not very much turns up. |

Even at a pub, we pay $3.50 per glass of beer, or at a nice bar, $5.
I guess it depends on whether or not you're a big drinker too. Two pints and two shots won't get me or my friends far. We usually have five or six beers before we leave home, then another ten or so at the destination, as well as shots. |

I can't believe you guys would spend a grand in a night for a bottle!!
Danny Ocean and Nachos might confirm this but, over here the prices are similar to those of Gauss in Croatia. The most exclusive club in the country is called Envy, entrance is $10 unless there is a special event. A bottle of Finlandia is about $44, Grey Goose might go for $100 or so I think. Beers are about 3$. I'm a high school senior, and all seniors get a membership to this club. So I can come and go and don't have to pay anything for entrance, unless there is a special event. There are even nights with all you can drink from say 10:00 to 1:00 or something like that. You will get a certainly table for buying a bottle, but it also is first come first serve.
El Salvador's GDP per capita $4,000
All of these prices are in U.S. dollars, thats the local currency :p |

Does not compute.
Upon further inspection of teh retarded imperial system (get with the times, the rest of the world uses metric), 34oz appears to be just over 1L...that is a load of beer.
$2...that's cheap, but I wouldn't even pay that. In fact, I'd pay $2 NOT to drink American beer. :stongue: |

Coke is pretty rare over here anyway, or at least I almost never come across it. It's mostly pills or crystal/speed, maybe some acid/k/whatever here and there, though there seems to be a fair bit of G around as well, though I don't touch that personally.

Really? It was pretty huge back in brissie, and it's got a lot of users here in Adelaide, I was under the impression that Melb was huge on it as well.
I do pretty well for a night out, low MDMA tolerance and public transport ftw.
$2 public transport into the city
$10 - $20 or so, depending on what entry is, more if it's a bigger party.
$30 per pill, usually only use 1, maybe 2 a night.
$15 for food/water/whatever
$30 cab ride home, unless I crash somewhere or go through until trains start running the next morning. |

Beat Blog: There are indeed clubs in Australia with paid tables, and rooms as well. I certainly can't speak for Melbourne or Sydney, but surely if we have one here in Brisbane, there would be something similar in those cities?
The one I'm referring to here is Family nightclub. Within the VIP areas, there are tables that can be booked, or even small (awesomely themed) rooms, all with full service. The people in that 'party' can come and go as they please, and to be completely honest, it makes for a really sweet night with a bunch of people you want to party with. The people who want to go dance can do so, and those who don't (or are taking a break from the dance floor) can chill in a really nice environment without having to be surrounded with excessively drunk or drugged up folk that may ruin the vibe of your night.
Check out these parts of Family Nightclub here:
