clubs and rip offs

me, my friend and about 5 other friends went to a club for her birthday. they charged 300 for a v.i.p table/bottle of grey goose... around end of the night, i found out we went through 2 bottles and sme shots of patron...ad the bill came to a close to a grand. not to mention some guy called coco crisp tried to buy our table and brought all his entourage and hos to crowd around our table... i really need to open a club and rip people off for drinks... how much are tables or avergae drinks in your city/town??

the other day we brought a group of 20 guys to a club, they would not let them in, only girls.
The entrance fee came up to : 7 bottles + service ... = a couple of grand |

A table that no one else can sit/stand at? :rolleyes:
You deserve to get ripped off if you buy into that crap in the first place.
p.s another stupid question from an ignorant Australian: do American clubs have waiters/bussies that bring you drinks, because if they do...that's ing gay. :stongue: |

How do you "find out" you went through 2 bottles, if you were drinking it? Sounds to me like you fail at life. Hopefully when you're married no man is stupid enough to have a joint bank account with you. |

What the hell? How can you reserve a table at a club? It's a club, not a restaurant.

you find out after you've been drinking for a while... the bottle girl kept on coming and going with the bottle (they don't leave the bottle at our table). :rolleyes:
yeah slylee, it does suck.

it's usually like that here in ny
$150 per person and it's 6-10 people per table, so all of that money goes towards bottles - so you figure 6 people @ $150 per person is like $900 going towards 3 bottles (around $300 each) plus 18% tip ontop of your 900 so you are looking around a grand for the table/vip/drinks/no entrace fee for those 6..it's on par i'd say |

Yeah, but my point is, what the hell is "V.I.P" (Besides "very important person)?
Reserving a table is like reserving a spot on the dancefloor.

In that case they should've charged you for 3 or 4 bottles. You would still pay it.
This is the first time I'm hearing of people dropping a few grand in a club in one night. This is actually pretty funny and sad at the same time. |

How many tables are there in the average American club?
Most serious clubs over here have between zero and one tables in the whole place, which are usually only for standing anyway, no seats around them. |
