No way, not a chance. Seriously - those bottles were gone in about a minute, and when they were, we were too. |
I don't know about the two bottles, I thought we did but I'm not sure now :p I know that we were there for more than an hour though. That's a fact. We got the table just as they started letting people in and we had it until maybe 1 or 2 am. |

Well, average salary in Croatia is around 4500 kn ($750), but it can go anywhere from 2000 kn ($333) to 15000 kn ($2500), latter being very rare and usually in cases of politicians, very good doctors and such. |
, living in Croatia is cheap. |

For your standard, prices are cheap. But not for our. :p Especially not the bills and taxes.
Edit: Forgot to say... $10 a night is enough for me, other people may spend up to $25-50, but I really see no point in that. |

no way, not a chance in the world. Especially not if you live in a big tourist place like Split or Hvar in summers. Prices are ing atrocious then.
What I don't get is that comparatively people earn like 5 times less than in Aus yet they spend the same amount. Kind of explains why almost the whole population is dangerously in debt.
As you would expect alcohol and drugs are the standard price so that is ok but it's the commodities that kill you. Food especially.
Also, when you go there on holiday, since Croatia exports pretty much nothing and basically imports everything the Kuna is much stronger than it should be. This hits a tourist very hard in summer. Ok, maybe not very hard but there is no way in hell that an Aus $ should give me just over 4 Kuna. It should give me close to 10. |

Well, now that I think of it...you said beers in a club can be 12-20KN.
That means you could easily spend 120KN in a night like we do, it's just that you're a bit frugal.
Our public transport only runs between 6am and 12am, so I usually have a $60 cab fare on top of my average night out, assuming I'm travelling alone or can't bum a lift with a friend. |

Either that or Americans are ridiculously spoilt and frivolous with their money. |
They earn about the same as most Australians once it's adjusted $0.80US, also like most Australians they're in some kind of debt, however they do excel over Australians by getting reamed even harder by credit card companies per capita. |

me, my friend and about 5 other friends went to a club for her birthday. they charged 300 for a v.i.p table/bottle of grey goose... around end of the night, i found out we went through 2 bottles and sme shots of patron...ad the bill came to a close to a grand. not to mention some guy called coco crisp tried to buy our table and brought all his entourage and hos to crowd around our table... i really need to open a club and rip people off for drinks... how much are tables or avergae drinks in your city/town??
sorry, i'm still a bit drunk from last night, so i don'y mean to sound pushy, lol. |
good thing you didn't give up your table to this guy. btw, if anyone wants to know, he plays center field for the boston red sox. :wtf: |

I really can't believe you guys pay that, coke in the states is usually $100-140 for 3.5g.. One of my friends used to get crack and he'd pay like $220 for 3.5g. The consumption of coke in America is so great (350+ tonnes/year) that the pricing is very competitive |
