you must be blind man...:rolleyes: i saw with my own sober eyes my friend not too long ago just dancing and doing nothing bad and a bouncer just shoving him hard as hell. my friend did nothing but just turn around to see who the was and at that same second another bouncer came and punched him in the face, my friend put his hands up and 3 more bouncers came, all pushing him out while one had him in a choke hold..
edit: not to mention the time after that, on the way to the bathroom i saw a guy on the floor passed out with like 3 bouncers all punching him on the head, and another bouncer pinning his gf on the wall while she was crying telling them to stop |

I think the door staff is only sheisty for big events that sell out so they can pocket cash themselves.
As for people getting their asses kicked at space.. well you all should know that when you walk in there you are under LP's rules. There is no point in ever arguing with any Bouncer at Space cuz the cops outside will have the bouncers back.
Space is not the only club in the world to ask for a dollar for a cup of water.
"Trance" nights are probably when water sales are pretty freaking high because of all the rolling kids, and if u don't want to cough up 5+ for a bottle than the least you can do is cough up 1$.
I'm surprised the bartender even had to ask your friend for a freaking dollar. That is someone's job and you must respect that.
You want free water??. well, if you were tipping good to begin with I'm sure the bartender would have given it to you for free. |

Wow I've never ever had a problem @ Space, and one time I was so drunk my head was leaning on Anthony's shoulder...the bouncer kindly asked for us to go never this bs that they dragged me out and Ant got his ass kicked. Point is, someone must have been doing or saying something stupid to have that happen.
I've seen many people get knocked the fuk out but only because they deserved it.
If certain people don't like how these bouncers/staff act then don't fuking go to Space...it's THEIR rules.
One time this guy kept harrassing me and the bouncer was giving me an eye waiting for my signal so he could kick the douchebag out.
Case in point, handle your liquor and/or drugs and you won't have problems...those ing gits don't know how to act properly at a club so happens to them. |

i mean yeah i get what you're saying... but the story of my friend i was standing right next to and witnessed it all... he did absolutely nothing. i have no idea what the story was with the guy on the floor, but still looked like what they were doing was uncalled for..
but w/e enough of that. i saw no problems at all in svd and i just saw everyone having a good time! |

To me it was just the principle of the guy begging for a dollar the second he handed my friend the cup. Where was it gonna go his pocket besides the guy was wearing braces lol. Went to nikki the next day asked for 2 cups of ice bartender smiled and gave me them on which I left a tip on. I guess house people are just nicer :gsmile: |

I thought this thread was about SVD, not Space!!
But yes, I do know that some people should get their ass kicked in certain situations, but not all, the bouncers are all in roid rage and have to take it out on someone to make up for the fact that they have tiny testicles.
You can check this link to see how many people sue Space, its more than 1, and these are the people who decided to do something about it, there are tons who do not want to waste the $ to prosecute.

Goodness gracious. The principal is not that the Bartender had to ASK for a freaking dollar.. it's the fact that you and your friends are cheap and deserve to stay home and drink mommy and daddy's liquor.

If I read correctly, it looks like the friend threw water @ the bartender after chach refused to pay a dollar for a cup of water. |

Okay well both of those instances deserve the fat lip and his friend is still tacky for not having a dollar on him and for throwing water at someone that is just trying to do their job.
Actually.. both of them should stay at home 'safe' and away from the big boys who can actually spend money when they go out. |
