I was there an didnt see that, I saw went he did the horn and the O2 tank, all he did was smile and out 2 thumbs up... lol
He did get treated very well for a first appreance @ Space. Space staff was very well with him. Right when he was about to come on. |

Sander never ever plays trance...full blown PvD type trance, NEVER!
He might go somewhat trancey but his style stays within the tech and tribal tech feel.
I dunno I thought it was good and although I am sure he can do better, I say give it time [if he comes back in December]
Sander is just the man. |

That is because U like fluff Spacey, and SVD doesn't play that . Sure he could've gone trancier with more build ups. But that he only had 3 hours, so he dropped the straight tech and did great for those of us that appreciate a hard techy set without the fillers and fluff
And BDR did not say the set did not progress, he said it did not progress "into anything trancey"
But there actually were some trancers thrown in, such as: Markus Schulz - Fly To Colours (Genix Remix), Way Out West - The Fall (Richard Durand Remix), Coldplay - Fix You (Remix), Super 8 vs DJ Tab - Needs To Feel (Wippenberg Remix), Rex Mundi vs. Ronski Speed - The Perspective Space (Markus Schulz Mashup), etc
Either way, I am sure that if Chach would only have paid him a dollar he would've played trancier :stongue: |

i just think it wasnt quite enough....
He did upset when he played something nice and then downplayed that tune with something ridiculously slow, speeded up. That why we still think there was an attempt several times, and then he took it right back to where he begun. Look at the tracks you mentioned, and the rest on that T/L, also someone please tell that Sweet Dreams Remix sucks!!!! Just most big tune went downhill after the next song he dropped.

First things first, if U thought his set was bad U R in the extreme minority.
Secondly, the 3 hour comment was by no means an excuse for anything. Face it SVD is not gonna play a bunch of melodic slow buildups and trancey la-la when he is playing only 3 hours. Tech is his trademark, and even DA knew that so he did not show up
U mention Identity, he plays straight tech on that show, and Saturday was better than his studio sets.
U claim we "better pray he does better." R U sure Paulino has not taken over your account buddy? Or maybe OG's epic opening set put you in a coma and U never woke up? Because if you think SVD's set was bad U may want to try some country western music next time

I guess my words were taken more harsh than what I meanted them to be, but I just think its was an acceptable set not SVD RIPPED SPACE APART kinda stuff.

Ive been going there for 4-5 years.. at least 3-4 times/month and have NEVER once had a single issue or problem in that club. In fact, I have started up tabs... left the club... woke up the next monday and said ", I left my credit card at space again" and instead of trying to call the bank and cancelling the card and all that bull... I call up the office and sure enough the card is there safe and sound. <-- I dont know many clubs in this city that have service like that.
Every bartender, door person, and VIP host that I know in that club is professional. Sure, the bouncers can get rowdy at times, but it's to keep the place safe with 3,000 ed up people in one place at the same time.
If you go in there and dont start and dont do illegal ... then you should have no problem whatsoever in that club.
Here is this dude telling the bartender to OFF and bitching about a dollar. CRY ME A ING RIVER and stop acting like a ing 12 year old little bitch.... The guy is lucky that he didnt get his ass stomped all over that club for that.
Every SPACE hater on here always loves to explain the bad side of SPACE.. but never tell the true side of the reason why they hate the place... in other words... theres always two sides to every story.... of course nobody on here ever hears about the other side. :rolleyes: |
