i went this weekend to Killington.

conditions were great. I snowboarded on saturday with temperatures at around 15 degrees I believe. It wasn't cold at all. Clear/gray skies. Snow was slightly packed, no ice spots, really decent.

there was a snowstorm saturday night there but I left sunday morning so I didn't get to ride the fresh snow.

from summit:

i think there was some sort of a huge snowboard trip going on because i have never seen so many asian boarders in one day at a resort. i heard it was some new york thing? no idea.

speaking as an asian... yeah not sure why the third wkend of december is a big deal. last year i bumped into so many people there. kinda funny in a way.

why are there so many asian snowboarders, yet so few that are freestyle proficient?

Serious question, im not being a dick. there are always tons of asians snowboarding, but when you get to the park its all white kids.

no clue, i'm not big on freestyle. a few of my friends do park, but they go to stratton. also, kinda hard to tell with goggs and masks hehe. oh and don't forget about brian.

brian doesn't hit up the park. it's actually not that difficult to spot asians on the slope. white people are pretty easy to spot, if they aren't white, they are probably asian. ;)

Just got back from Tahoe. Kirkwood was disappointing. I was expecting very good things, but all i got was crusty snow and 40% open terrain - which consisted of no good terrain. Squaw, all i can say is ROCKS, ROCKS, and more ROCKS!!! Although Squaw had a significant amount of its "good" terrain (1/2 of KT22, Excalibur, and Granite Peak) closed, i still had a really good time there. I almost forgot how good the terrain is at squaw. Definitely my favorite resort for terrain. Anyone who hasn't been there should definitely go. I think the terrain is better than whistler. (i'm still holding out on jackson, i hear that's the best in NA).

Oh yeah, i wish i had pics, but it was either white-out conditions, or it was so windy and cold i wasn't taking my hands out of my gloves.
