| Hands down best time i have ever had at guv...This was my first time seeing Sasha and it was well worth the wait...The things he was doing up there were out of control...My only complaint of the night was the ing cobwebs everywhere. |

The plan was to be there around 10:30 but close to it 11:15 i was in the guestlist line standing beside Tordan...Line was moving slowly....Got in somewhere around 12ish,the moment i walked in I saw the dood in the Predator costume Hoooli fukk that was nicely done.I knew how busy it will be inside so not a big deal....spent most of my night @ the gallery.
The most nicest thing that happened:-
This dood who was chilling beside me and my friends saw me drop my cell phone while I was dancing and he kept looking for me the whole time and found me 2 hours later and gave me my cell.WoW not someone i know but still really sweet and nice dood.

Some sketchy guy ran into me and i was just about to go down the gallery steps....I slipped and bruised my left arm....That didnt stop me from having a good time. |

Again i had a great time at the Guv, last time i was there was Halloween last year for Loco Dice.
My night was spent at the Gallery for Corola except for the ten minutes i left to check Sasha out, it was really 5 minutes fighting the crowd and five minutes enjoying the music, i wanted to hear him drop Kevlar - the Mongoose and Supermayer - Two of Us, but i didnt care anymore and went straight back to the gallery for the remainder of the night.
The music was ridiculase good, lol there were times when the music was very minimal that you thought you were in a hen house from all the people yapping. Glad i came out :D |

Hey all just got back to NYC last night
All I have to say is Sasha does not play like this in NYC. He absolutely tore it up! I had a great time with a wonderful crowd, it's nice to see people actually having fun where as the scene in NY is way different. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, got to enjoy the torontonian hospitality, overall everyone was friendly, just how i remembered toronto. I must say though, I believe I will be returning shortly to hang out once again.
Sorry I didn't get a chance to bump heads with JPie, Moral, or Pork. I know I suck royally, but fear not I shall return.
So what'd I do during my visit? LOL
I mall'd like no other. Scarsborough, Yorkdale, Yorkville, Eaton, did a lululemon tour with the wife, picked up clothes, and ate out a lot.
There was one thing that really bothered me though, maybe because of timing or maybe because it's a tourist trap, but can anyone explain to me why on earth does it take min 1hr and an $8 surcharge to order in at a hotel? I presume since we were ordering in from one of those 'dine-in' magazines in the hotel that we'd have to face some sort of surcharge/delivery charge etc, but waiting an hr for fish and chips seems highly unreasonable to me. Then again, maybe not all areas operate in a NY Minute lol.
All in all, I had a great time and shall return once again. Hopefully I'll get to bump heads with moral, pie, and pork. Until next time!
ps-does anyone know where i can get my hands on sasha's set for this night? or if it was even recorded? classic i must say |

hahahha that reminds me...my friend and i were walking down the gallery steps and all of a sudden her heel got caught in those damn cobwebs so she tripped and fell on her face..poor girl..but she wasn't hurt thank god..just embarassed |
