It's Monday and all I can think about how GOOD Carloa was! I remember the lights came on in the Gallery and he was not done Knox had to drag me out of the gallery we made our way through Guv got a hot dog and as were passing the gallery he was still playing and I in true sketchbag fashion start dancing in the street outside the Guv :toothless

I made sure I was front and centre when the man came on and wound the crowd up with his wonderful introduction. I just stood, absorbed and smiled.
As everyone knows, I have been looking forward to this night for...um...68 days prior to the event...and I was not disappointed at all.
spent a lot of time on the balcony as well- enjoying the view of the madness down below.

Thank you Sasha for making this a night a pure incredible tunes.
Managed to hit up the Gallary later in the evening...but I couldn’t stay because I was drawn back to the main room. Not because the music was bad... Because I can say it was definitely not. Carola was dropping incredible minimally good tunes as well...one after another. Seeing the gallery that rammed at 6 in the morning still...you know something special was going on.

Yep, another sign that everyone was acknowledging the 1/100 party was that Sydney and Dekoze never got to play. (I think they were supposed to follow him at 3:30, lol)
Or how about the fact that I never left the Gallery to see Sasha even for 1 second. It wasn't even a thought, there was no way I was about to leave that insanity.

If you;ve listened to G&D's sets lately they don't play the trancey sound they used to. I for one love their sound no matter what it is and am a huge fan of what it's evolved into, musicians have to evolve their sound over time, no?
Seriously don't go to their show expecting to hear an old school G&D trance-like set because you'll most likely be let down. Go to their show ready to embrace a new and different sound with the expectations G&D will deliver like they always do :D

unnngh, stop it! I love this track...Beyer played it but that was the only track of his that I lost my to.
I fully believe Carola's set was better than Beyer's ...booo. I feel so unsatisfied.

Despite the original recipe for disaster at the beginning of the night (overcrowded, hallo-sluts with gigantic butterfly wings, some ****** hitting me in the face with a glowstick....) I was able to come out of Saturday night with absolute glee- what a ing memorable party.
I can honestly say I did not leave the gallery the entire night. I knew there was a chance that I was missing out but I didnt even care because I honestly couldnt believe anything could be better then what Carola was putting down. There was no need to take that chance, there was some serious magic happening in that room.
A party night that will go down in history..... ;)

I had a blast hanging out with everyone on Saturday... I knew it was going to be rammed but you make the best of it when you know thats gonna be the case... some of the costumes were really amazing!!
I thought the music was lax all night unfortunately... the type of tech house played wasnt my cup of tea and Sasha was brutal. For the first hour his set had zero bass, it was all just a simple kick and hit hat, and he'd let it go for 10 minutes at a time. He started to add some more layers and sounds after an hour of this repetitive stuff but he lost me by then. Too bad he didnt feel the need to play anything interesting for an hour.
On a positive note MO kicked ass to open things up, really enjoyable!
All in all a great night though, friends really made it for me!
