I think Guv has managed their congestion problem since the new renovations. And with CIRCA opening its all but solved. People are just never satisfied. |

BUT
The amount of people at the Guvernment complex on Saturday was ILLEGAL. Going to see a massive DJ Icon will bring the crowds but EVERY inch of space was taken up with a human body - even the orange room was full to bursting so really, when I say TOO MANY PEOPLE, I mean I DESERVE ENOUGH SPACE SOMEWHERE IN THIS ING CLUB TO TAKE A BREATH!
I also have the right to access the bar to get water. But apparently the guv doesn't care if any of its patrons die of dehydration or crushing.
Jay, don't start with your "If the club was half empty" as we know damn well that a name like Sasha will fill the club - I only ask that fire regulation capacity laws are abided by. |

I ran into that problem.
I was trying to get water at 1:45 but the bartender was like "I'm only taking order for alochol...you can get water anytime, Last call is coming soon.
I'm like WTF. Ending up getting a Vodka Redbull instead lol
Personally, I didn't find it that busy. Always had room to dance, found some nice empty spots...
It only took me a minute to get from Main to Gallery...
I remember times where it would literally take 15-20 minutes just to get from guv to Orange Room as everyone got stuck inside the tunnel areas! Haven't run into that problem in a while... |

When we decided to leave, it took 10 mins to get from Gallery to the fire exit in front of the orange room.. |

That's pretty irresponsible of whoever was in charge of that decision (either the bartender, or the manager instructing the bartender to do so). :rolleyes: |

Exact same thing happened to me. Had to wait a good 15min for my water. |

If someone told me I couldn't buy water I would just reach over and grab a bottle (sometimes I've seen water bottles in the corner of the bar in their cardboard box). Depending on how rude the bartender was, I'd leave the $5 or not. :mad: |

sorry, rachel, but you said it yourself that with a dj like sasha then you know the club will be filled. and you already know how guv packs the venue for big events but you had a choice: go to the club to see the dj and deal with the crowd OR stay home because you dont want to deal with the crowd. YOU made the choice so quit your bitching. |
