They're kind of tragic, like retro-hippies and pop-punks that are desperately seeking some kind of alternative, outward personality because everything else is so bland and instead just end up looking like a knob.

I respect poi. Be in fire or glowsticks inside due to safety reasons. But I hate the retarded glow stringers who batto each other and do the same stupid wonky figure eight all night.

So you're saying that all glowstickers who go out to parties only go out just to show off their ego? What a load of bollocks. I don't just glowstick to any kind of ing music, it has to be the I like. It's what I do to express myself when I'm feeling the music and vibe at a party/rave/club. Plus it's a good way to break the ice when you want to talk to some new people. If your night gets ruined just because a few people decided to wave some glowsticks around, then that sounds like a personal problem to me.
